I like this magazine because it has catered for me since I was a beginner up to the point of being quite an experienced stitcher. The designs and patterns provided range from quick simple stitches to larger projects. A downside is that I often don't read 75% of the pages, just skip to the patterns but that's just me, maybe other people enjoy to read the articles. There are a lot of useful tips for beginners and I'd say their smaller patterns are a good place to start out. The question page is thorough and I feel that they actually do try hard to give good answers unlike some magazines. I love the Margaret Sherry patterns printed inside also!

I love the Cross Stitcher Magazine from the UK. It is the best cross stitching magazine because the pages are full of charts that are easy to read and follow. They give you clear instructions and even tell you where you can get all products and offer you help...in doing so. You can order it (and back issues) by going online to myfavouritecrossstitch web site. It is colorful and well worth getting and keeping. It is a bit pricey here in the U.S. I order a yearly subscription which with a discount still cost 91.00 a year but well worth every dime spent....well worth it. I can't say enough good things about this magazine. Every issue comes with a terrific cross stitching gift (like a magnifier, new threads, frame, buttons or beads). I'd order this magazine if I had to sell my husband...lol

I like the explanation and directions for the projects in CrossStitcher. I enjoyed the different stories by designers and their ideas. However, it's hard to find in Washington and specifically the Spokane area, and I don't know how to figure pounds. Where can I get Patterens and material in larger then 14count., as I am having vision problems and don't wnat to give up sewing thank you.
