I ordered a phone for my daughters… I ordered a phone for my daughters birthday and it never arrived even though I paid extra for next day delivery! I was told I needed to wait 7 days and then they could reprt it missing with the courier. Oh dear, I used used Music Magpie for years but on sending through several items the other day I won't be using them again. They awarded 'zero value' to a Bluray boxset, stating it had no barcode and was a promotional item. I emailed immediately to question this as I had bought the item from Amazon and I had scanned the barcode when selling to Music Magpie! “realiy, really bad experience - do not use this company ”

I sent MM three orders - two boxes for each order - six boxes in total. All six boxes were collected by the courier on the same day and I was issued one ticket for the six boxes. MM are now denying they have received two of the three orders but have told me they have paid one of them. As the three orders were all sent at the same time, I don't know why the other two haven't been dealt with. i guess the boxes have been lost by MM, but no-one at MM seems to be making any attempt to check… Read Full Review

I ordered a book from Music Magpie (via eBay) and paid for it. A few days later I had an email saying they couldn’t send me my book as it was ‘damaged’ and they didn’t have another one. Fine - but no mention of the money, I’d already paid or how to apply for a refund. I sent a reply to the email asking for a refund, but no reply. Protracted disaster! My feedback to them on their customer service: “You didn’t explain why you 1 failed to take my address correctly in the first place 2 failed to update the rest of the order when sending out the PS4. Returned my MacBook Air after MusicMagpie said they would pay full value for the damage they caused when sent to them the first time., Now they say they haven’t received it despite Royal Mail tracking saying it was delivered over a week ago. Sent my Samsung note 8 in after being offered £180. It had some minor signs of use which they knew about but it was in perfect working order. They then emailed me saying it had "screenburn" and offered me £36 for it! This was trying to get a phone for next to nothing. The only good thing was they sent the phone back. MusicMagpie provided me with a faulty device, a Samsung S7 edge that wouldn't charge. They failed to fix it on two occasions and when I sent it back for a full refund they returned it to me requesting that I log out of the phone first (something I couldn't do because the phone had no charge!), they then took two months to return the phone to be logged out and when they did it still could not charge and I still could not log out. Sent them my iPad Pro, they changed my quote from £300 to £30 due to liquid damage, I requested they send it back and subsequently sold it to CEX for £240, they said there was no sign of liquid damage. This company makes their money from selling devices on for much more than they paid. I sent a pristine Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, together with a Caseology case, but they advised after a week that the phone would not hold a charge, so the price offered was reduced dramatically. They returned the phone after a week, but no case. More significantly, I recharged the phone, restored the previous settings and it has, as of time of writing this, been on continuously for over 8 days and still has 18% battery. So I placed an order yesterday - 4th June 2019 in good faith. The order value was over £720. I paid for next day delivery in good faith. Their website says dispatched for next day delivery if ordered before 4pm. My order was placed at 3.30pm. Whatever you do DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE. I purchased a CD from Ebay, they sent me the CD with all its trimmings but it was a Christian CD, where I had bought various artists.
