Okay, well maybe I am a die hard fan of Sex and the City, but there are a few points that made this movie very good. Some of you might not think it is worthy of ten out of ten, but most of you will enjoy it: Here's my opinion:
Nearly eveyrone knows that Sex and the City is an asset to the fashion industry. The clothes in this movie are truley spectacular. With names like Dior, Monolo, Gucci and D&G. Over all I thought that this movie was worth buying on special edition, after renting it twice.
It's charm, wittyness and glossyness from the series is carried on to th movie. It is of course rated. I would say thay no viewer under the age of 16 should watch this film. It contains strong language that carries through the film, there are also very explicit sex scenes, and graphic nudity.
For some of you, two and a half hours may be a little long for a romantic comedy. Please may I remind you that this is coming from an Emmy winning series, and if they could not do it the proper way, slowly, it would have gone too fast.

Really enjoyed it, it's a girl's film. Definitely worth watching but there's a lot of sad parts before the happy ending.

As an avid Sex and the city viewer I couldn't wait to see the girls back in action and after the romantic ending to series 6 i was dying to finally see Carrie get her Happy ever after with the hunky Mr Big. I wish I had never seen the movie! The end of the Sex In The City show left us with Carrie in the arms of Mr Big knowing "she was the one." Maranda and Steve had set up a lovely family life together, Charlotte was at long last getting her child she so desperatley wanted and Samantha finally found the one man (Jarred) that she could love and be loved by as well as a best friend.
The movie totally ruined the magical ending to the series and left me with the sense that there is no happily ever after. The storyline was poorly written which made it unbelieveable. Normally i laugh and cry along with the girls but I was left emotionless the only time i chuckled was the poop scence which in my opinion was the best past of the movie. This movie could have been so much more and I would say to any True Sex and the City fans remember them as they were at the end of the series you will be much happier not seeing this movie and imagining as i did that they did live happily ever after.

I am numbered amongst the few as a I have NEVER seen an episode of Sex and the City.!!!! SHOCK
You cant, however, fail to have a rough idea about the whole thing as the media exposure that SJP and the rest get is massive, and so, with a rainy Thursday afternoon to fill and nowhere to go, we decided to go to the cinema.
We stood and looked at the listings and didnt want to see anything that was on offer, and so Sex and the City got the go ahead.
I neednt have been worried as it is hilariously funny, and as a woman between 35 and 45, it is unnervingly accurate in picking up on exactly how we think and feel.
I would recommend you see this film, even if you have your doubts.....you will roll with laughter.

I am a big fan of the Sex And The City girls, but I saw the film last night with a bunch of girlfriends and we all said when we came out we could watch it again and again , i think you have to be a girl to really enjoy perhaps 30-40's, so funny and moments of tears, well worth waiting 4 years.

I have just seen Sex And The City: The Movie. I went to see it by myself and WOW. The film made me laugh, 'poop scene', cry, sad, happy and all other emotions were felt. All the girls were on form and there's even a scene with Carrie wearing no make-up! Samanatha looks amazing at 50 years old, there's hope for me yet. I really loved the film and feel like I have closure. If you are a Sex And The City fan you will love it.
