“Chinese 52cc chainsaw.”

Mine came from an importer with a different name, but it's essentially the same saw as the Silver Lion. Save up your money and buy a good branded one, Husqvarna, Stihl or Jonsered. It looks the part but the material and build quality leave a lot to be desired. In three hours domestic running the chain came off mine four times despite being correctly set and tensioned, the chain brake failed and the pull start failed. The chain adjusting mechanism is unreliable. In short it's downright dangerous to use. Consider your essential body parts and but something safe to use.

Probably not a fair review of its not the same brand of saw. Regardless of how it looks, these do look the same as the husqvarna but i couldnt review mine on a husqvarna page. Needless to say years on im still using my silverlion, its been good

i bought one of these chainsaws last summer from an importer, built in china they are made on the recently released husqvarna patent. i have always used the husq saws in the past and as soon as this one arrived it was clear i was dealing with the same saw at a greater discounted price.. as per the original design they are a 2 stroke saw which means mixing the oil and fuel for the saw, not really a problem but still not a plus.

i found the whole saw was incredibly well built and not what you would expect from the chinese market, or can you? these days all of the big manufacturers are selling chinese saws with a sticker on them... the saw came with all of the kit i needed to get going including a sharpener. the saw is self oiling too so thats always a good addition to any saw.

i have used the saw a lot over the last 6 months and apart from sharpening the chain its been faultless. i would recommend this saw to anyone looking for something in the lower range of the market, mine was only £149 and thats electric saw money
