“Completely incompetent”

Since the 2017 'upgrade' Easily have consistently faiiled to fix any ensuing issues. The billing department is a shambles, and despite the good intentions of staff technical support is slow and largely ineffective. On the phone the staff are polite and helpful, but they are clearly incapable of making a broken system work, however pleasant and friendly they are. “Horrendous service degradation and ZERO recovery”

DNS, Email, Linux hosing: As per ALL of the other recent reviews: despite being with this 'service' provider for an exceptionally long number of years (since their establishment) their server switchover has been handled with a level of incompetence that would make the TSB consider that it had got off lightly - completely horrendous! “After 18 years, this is DREADFUL!”

I've been a customer for 18 years and Easily has been moderately priced and things seem to work. Then I was told my account was being upgraded to "their new portal" with extra facilities. On the day of the changeover I had 23 issues. 8 weeks on I have 20. I have received minimal support - one support ticket was closed because they said I hadn't paid to have the 20 faults repaired. “Downgraded me in their migration then suspended my...”

A couple of weeks before my renewal date they decided to "migrate" me to their new portal. Impossible to navigate around it. Couldn't renew. Server always temporarily unavailable and website creator not found for this domain. I called their number and was put on hold for ages. They said they would put the extension through but that was only limited services if any and I got an e-mail saying certain services had been suspended. Now 2 weeks on and the web shop hosted by Easily is nowhere to be seen. No response back other than the automatic response. A complete shambles. Having to build a new web site from scratch with another provider but will probably be finished before they ever get back in touch. Since the portal "upgrade" i have had nothing but problems and NOTHING in the way of support. I totally understand implementing new systems comes with the risk of problems and am sympathetic to issues that arise from it, but Easily have not only made my domain names unavailable, but when they are available the DNS hasn't propagated for weeks and support is NON EXISTENT. Something has gone horribly, horribly wrong at easily.co.uk in the last few months. As a web developer, I have several clients with domains at easily, and as far as I can tell, in each case, when the domain has been 'upgraded' to Easily's new portal, the domain records have vanished for a few days or weeks! Astonishing that this was allowed to happen in the first place, but then after they'd migrated the first few domains and presumably had a bunch of complaints about this and poor reviews… Read Full Review

“Absolutely useless”

I use them to host some domain names and it has been okay until they recently changed ("upgraded") the portal.They have apparently lost access to all the older transactions and invoice records with the result that I am receiving daily demands to pay an invoice that I have already paid. They acknowledge that it has been paid but seem to be incapable of sorting out the problem or of updating the account record on the portal. I had two domains hosted with 123-Reg and although everything was mostly OK, I wasn't entirely happy so moved them to Easily. One domain transferred without issue but I had to contact support before I could access the other domain even though they showed it as being hosted by them. Then came the new portal, oh dear! Problems which I hope are only teething troubles with the new customer portal... 1. Difficulties with the password reset procedure 2. had problems with some emails simply not being delivered to me. Took several weeks to realise that there was something wrong. I tried various things that didn't help. The problem with technology these days is the way that when you have a problem with your phone or computer your whole world has a tendency of falling apart!
