Only had the machine two days and weather not the best so only covered 20 odd miles. Read with interest the other comments and I must say I like the sound of them so far its comfortable easy to ride but yes wont handle like any other bike we have all had and the brakes (2015 model) havent bedded in yet but a bike this size could have done with brake discs front and back. But perhaps Suzuki thought it should stay with drum on the back in keeping with the cruser style? I considered a yamaha 950 but always liked the shaft drive and ease of maintence. But I rode a few before buying the C800. Thanks for reading and safe riding.

would buy another Suzuki Intruder C800 but don't have to as the 05 I have is still working. As a new one I always wanted a bigger engine ie 1300cc but know now that the C800 is sufficient. It has plenty of power and carries wife and myself plus all our rally gear with no problem. Great riding position, easily maintained and lots of torque.

I always wanted a harley, but I went to the 2008 bike show at G-mex in Manchester, last January, walked round a corner and there she was, stopped me dead in my tracks, yes it was love at first sight, and I forgot all about harleys, high tech, high spec, and all for under £5,500 picked her up end of may 2008, and I still find myself grinning as I cruise down the road a real headturner and the number of conversations I've had with folk even passers by when I am just washing the bike, unbelieveable, you may have guessed I am hopelessly, totally in love with my intruder
