Piaggio Zip SP50

A fmaily friend has a Piaggio Zip 50, And I am currently 15, So not quite old enough to drive it legally yet, however the fmaily friend has let me go on it on private land before, and it is fabulous. The friend has said I can buy it in October when I turn 16, And I am sure not going to miss out on the opportunity,

When I have been on it so far, It starts upp every time, drives smooth, is comfertable and has never stalled like other bikes I have tried.

It is a 2003 Model with around 16,000km on it but still runs like lightening.

Great bike that I would reccomend to anyone, especially great for a 16 year old lad who wants their first form of independant transport.

And I looked at insurance for the same month I passed my CBT and it is around £240, thats £4000 less than I was quoted for a car at 17.

i baught my piaggio zip sp a few months ago crash damaged for dirt cheap.

i go it home and stripped it down then cleaned it all i was suprised for a 2003 bike all of the screws flew out of the holes no problem and from then i stripped down my engine and cleaned it all then spent £300 on alot of race parts like new crank,variator,clutch,stator plate,gear up kit,exhaust,21mm carb etc.

i built it all back up and i took it out on the road and it pulled strait up to 70mph and still wanted to go more i was amazed. but i would recommend this bike to any one who is thinking of getting one.

The Piaggio Zip SP50 is a very good moped for a first time rider or an experianced rider. I have had mine for nearly 10 months and the only thing thats went wrong is the screw that holds the wire on the battery came loose causing the battery to be disconnected, everthing else is perfect, would recomend to everyone.
