When I was sold the insurance through Bajaj finance ,I was not informed of the complications involved in filing a claim. My phone was being used by my son in a different city when it was damaged.on informing the insurance company,I was told to get it repaired and file for a claim. After repairing the phone when I called..I was given a list of documents to be submitted for claim.ironically one required document was picture of damaged phone..besides that there are so many doc's that no one has time in today's digital world to actually fill so many details...u don't even require so many details to claim a medical insurance...big disappointment fo going in for this insurance..also blame Bajaj finance for referring them

I have a Moto z2 play phone whose screen has been broken few days ago. As my phone is ensured with fonesafe, I called at the toll free no. And they told me to submit the respective documents by email and also send copies of that by courier. These are the documents they told me to submit: 1) claim form 2) statement of incident 3) original mobile bill 4) repair bill original 5) service engineer report 6)photograph of damaged phone 7)Copy of a Valid Photo I.D. 8)Cancelled Cheque with customer name printed on same. So, I submitted all the aforementioned documents and sent it to the cppindia address. I had also mailed these documents to cppindia. Since my phone screen has been damaged, it costs me around 7,900₹ to change the display which I had given from my pocket. After few days I got a mail from cppindia wherein was written that the following documents are incomplete: Damage Photo - IMEI NO NOT REFLECTING IN DAMAGE PHONE Cancelled Cheque - NAME MISMATCH AFFIDAVIT REQ. As suggested by them ,I had sent damage photo with IMEI reflecting and also sent name mismatch Affidavit. Now, It has been 2 months since I claimed, but haven't got the money yet. I always called them and they say we will give you the update.

I have taken insurance for my IPhone. I have claimed this insurance for my iPhone before three months and spent my amount on credit, till now iam waiting for my money. As you requested, I have submitted all required documents by both soft copy and hard copy as well. You said by within 28 business days the money will be credited to my account till now no update from your team. Worst customer service I have never seen in my life. Really we didn't except this response from you.please treat customers well. Iam really doubtful that your team really monitor this mail id

This company Fonesafe DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM AT ALL - years ago they were rubbish and then they improved a bit now they have gone back to square one. IMCOMPETENT I have put a claim in with them and the service is appalling and telling me and 2xmembers of my family that it is a new phone coming out, in actual it is not a new phone it is a refurbished phone that they send out-mine arrived with a freezing screen and not working properly. Still waiting for their packaging to arrive to me since they said they sent it out on 19th May special delivery so I can return faulty phone back to them. I do not believe they have sent this packaging out at all otherwise it would have arrived by now. Anyone else had problems with this horrible company and yes in the near future I will be sacking them. I am claiming from them loss of wages and compensation, but will I get it I don't think so. I will eventually be contacting the ombudsman

There are so many bad reviews for fonesafe here that I need to redress the balance by submitting my own experience. Having bought my HTC One in June 2012, it fell out of my pocket and drowned in Ryde Harbour on 16 Feb 2013. I reported to fonesafe and paid the £30 excess, received a return envelope within 3 days, and sent it back as instructed (cost £6 for special delivery). The replacement arrived on 27 Feb, so total time was 11 days. Popped into TMobile shop that day to get a replacement SIM, and all working perfectly. I can strongly recommend fonesafe!

I had an iPhone 5 for 2 years and the front camera stopped working - so I paided £25 excess for a new phone. My phone didn't come for weeks and when i rung to ask why someone told me that the iPhone's were faulty so they couldn't send me one till they fixed it. So I returned to uni without a phone. Weeks later I came back to my new phone, but it wasn't long before the phone stopped working and stopped charging and stopped turning on. I can hear the battery moving around inside the phone. I turned the phone over onto a table and was shocked to see a crack on the screen. Considering I had a screen protector, this was a bit weird. I know phones don't break this easily as my old phone was in perfect condition. Now fonesafe are asking me for £75 for a new phone due to the crack when the phone is definitely faulty. I am left phone less currently as I refuse to pay for this as its £100 all together and I'm expecting another faulty product.

When I first submitted my claim it was two weeks ago, I was told that they would be sending out the envelope to return the phone in ASAP. That did notarise until the Saturday afternoon, which was five days after. When I opened the envelope to send my phone back I find that they have sent me someone else's information on the returns sheet which did not match mine. By the time I had seen this it had gone 5 pm so I was unable to contact anyone until the Monday. When I called on the following Monday first thing in the morning they told ,e to cross out the wrong into formation and to write my own in, they did not apologise for sending someone else's information. I sent the phone on that Monday morning. I then called on the Wednesday asking how long roughly it would be before my phone would be sent out, I spoke to a young lady who said to expect my phone on Friday, so here I a, on Friday afternoon having sat in all day waiting for a delivery that HASNT EVEN BEEN SENT YET!!! I decided to call the company to see when my phone will be delivered and what sort of time I should expect it today to be told I was never told it would be here today and that the person who I had spoken with had put down completely different information as to what I was told over the phone, the lady I was speaking with told me she doesn't know where about my phone is in the process and she needs to speak to a particular lady who JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE IN A MEETING .. TYPICAL!!!!!! So I now won't have a phone until next week even though I have been waiting two weeks, I have been paying for a contract that I haven't been able to use and I have been paying this joke of a company for the past two years for insurance and they can't even provide the service I am paying for !!! Absolute shambles. Don't waste your time, money or energy in this sad excuse of a company. All they care about is getting your £30 out of you as quick as possible.

Phone screen smashed on Tues 16.9.14. Filled in claim form and returned online on Wed 17.9.14. Eventually managed to contact them on Thursday 18.9.14. Told me I would have replacement by the weekend. Got home on the Friday to a pre-paid envelope to send my damaged phone off. No replacement as yet. Following a conversation yesterday 22.9.14 I was told my replacement would be dispatched today 23.9.14 but got a phone call from the company to tell me they have run out! May get a replcaement by Thursday if I'm lucky! To add insult to injury, all the calls I've had to make have cost me an additional £18 on my bill in addition to the £9 premium paid each month! A LONG letter of complaint will be finding its way to head office! An absolute disgrace is the only way to describe this company and the service it provides. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2 year old iPhone simply stopped chargingI filled in an online claim form on Wednesday , received a call later that day and paid £50 excess and a prepaid envelope arrived Friday in which I returned my very battered phone. A brand new I phone arrived yesterday . No hassle ,everything as promised by the call agent . I think that's top service .. Only minor point is that I received a white phone instead of black but was advised that this may be the case .

I upgraded my phone in October. Did not realise I had to cancel policy myself. Cut a long story short , spoke to them on 3rd June. They are refunding all my payments back to October! Over the moon. Thank you! Debbie Hobart

My daughters iPhone went a bit haywire going black & white zooming in & out by itself, contacted fonesafe regarding the problem their system was down so I completed a form on line. Next day (Friday) I received a phone call from them we went over the details my claim was accepted £30 excess paid by me. Received special delivery envelope the next day (sat) sent phone back on tues (public holiday mon) and we received the replacement phone on the Thurs. Can't fault the service we received and my daughter was happy with her replacement iphone5 as hers was looking a little tired through wear & tear & being nearly 2years old.

Canceled my policy 2 years ago and had letter over a month ago stating changes to my policy. Rang them and asked why ihad this letter to find I have been paying for a phone that I haven't had for 2 year's. got told complaints department that do not work weekends would sort it out .got sent letter say looking in to my claim.2nd letter saying still looking in to my claim 28 days later. Why don't they give me my money back that they have taken since I have cancelled my policy. Complaints department are ether under staffed or have that many complaints ?.I have asked why no info by post or text or email every 12 months like all other insurance product's and they couldn't answer. SIMPLE THEY NO PEOPLE WOULD CANCEL . DO YHE MATHS 8.99 X12 For how long.IF YOU DO CANCEL MAKE SURE THEY SEND LETTER OF CONFORMATION

I have tried to get through to them 18 times in the last month since I received a letter with incorrect information relating to my policy and had to call them to get it updated. They are utterly useless. They do not have any staff to answer the calls and just send you to a queue. Words cannot describe how scandalous it is that they are allowed to operate without any obligation to provide a proper service. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS _ THEY ARE USELESS

Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance. This company are rubbish, they send out second hand (refurbished) phones. I have been a customer for over 5 years without making a claim and when I lost my phone last week they sent me a scratched up 2nd hand phone that I had to pay £30 excess for. After speaking to the company they say they will replace it with another 2nd hand phone but I have to wait in all day for the courier 8am to 6pm so that they can take this scratched one back - probably to hand on to some other customer. I have cancelled the insurance. The representative I spoke to had the cheek to say that she was trying to help me but I was being awkward because I could not take a day off from work to wait for a courier. I am sure (as they repeatedly stated) they do tell you this in their very small font terms and conditions but I feel very disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone
