IPhone was stolen Barclays insurer try to find any reason that is possible not to replace the stolen phone and went as fare as indicating fraud . “Horrific Customer Service”

Absolutely appalled at the level of customer service given out by the Barclays team on a claim for insurance. iPhone X was lost abroad in Europe (whilst working out here for 6 months and not due to return home for another 2). Claimed on the insurance policy as you are supposed to be able to and had the phone delivered to a UK address and then a family member sent it out to myself. I've been using there phone insurance now for years I have as of yet had any bad experiences like this, it's unfortunate you have had this bad experience with them. But again I can't to this day complain about them at all. I wouldn't go around telling others not to use them until they do or don't have the same experience as you. I feel your pain but don't agree with you sorry.

I am so upset with this policy. I have had my new phone 4 days and my darling son dropped it and broke it....claimed and paid all excess. No consultation from anyone at all, no idea of when it would be delivered. I called customer services to find out the phone had been despatched....the wrong colour and a refurbished phone. My IPhone went wonky on the Friday afternoon, rang Barclays LSG to make a claim, hassle free and received a new iPhone 6s PLUS the next day by DPD courier delivery and they took the old one away! The claims process was approved straight away on the phone, your phone gets replaced straight away and they did not even have a go at repairing it! Very poor customer experience and they absolutely don't care about their customers experience in any shape or form. I made a claim for my damaged phone, I was sent a faulty replacement phone, I called to complain and was told I would have to post it back for them to do a diagnostic and then get it repaired or send a replacement. First my claim I ever done since I opened my bank account with Barclays .As they stated before , the quality of insurance service now has realy improved , so tech pack price have been recently raised from 9.50 to 12.50 . “LSG - Barclays - absolutely shocking outfit”

Absolutely shocking outfit. Sent me 3 faulty phones then offered a different phone that was not equivalent. I sent back the last faulty one which they received 2 weeks ago but they still can't confirm that they have it and won't pay out or replace. Had to go out and buy a new phone. Patronising staff that sound like they're reading from a script with there pathetic apologies and trying to discuss the weather with you. “Fast efficient service despite bad reviews ”

I was dissapointed to read the reviews once my samsung s7 had been damaged. It had the front and back screen cracked. I called the team on a Thursday got my phone in the post same day. Received an email by Friday acknowleding receipt of my phone. Following Monday received an email confirming my devise was repaired and it was back to me by Tuesday. Did your phone still work with the cracks? According to the policy, claims can only be made for damage which effects the functionality of the phone. My S7 also has a crack on the screen, but still works, so not sure of they'd repair it.
