We just saw the Cbeebies live show in Liverpool. I'd never been to one before so wasn't sure what to expect. I was a little disappointed to find such a disparity between his favourite shows and the live performance, but I guess many of them are hard to translate to a stage. There was a strong musical theme which would have been fine, but unfortunately the songs (although v lively) were not ones that toddlers can sing along to. By the end he was dancing along a bit and enjoying it, but more singalong songs would have been good. The worst bit was an eerie scene in an old abandoned laboratory, covered in cobwebs and littered with rubbish, when echoing moans and groans announce the arrival of the 'trashmonster'. This was a Chinese dragon-style creation, carried aloft above 3 stage hands, with red glowing eyes appearing brightly in the smoky air above the dimly lit stage. Although the monster appeared only for one song (Monster Mash), my little boy was so scared that even half an hour later, as the second half was starting, he was still saying he wanted to go home. Other little ones around us were also scared and scrambling into parents' laps. I find that completely unnecessary in a show aimed at preschoolers. On the whole, I am glad I took him as it was an experience he will remember for a long time, but there was certainly room for improvement, considering the price of the tickets.

Took my 2 yr boy to nottingham yesterday and we both loved it. We made it an adventure by getting the train then lunch at pizza express before getting to the arena about 12.50. He chose a rastamouse for his present £15 which to be fair I don't think is over priced,. Good activity programme was £6, other people have moaned about this price but magazines in shops r close to £4. We were 4 rows from the front and had a great view . He was mesmerised from the first minute to the end, the show was lively and had all his favourite characters in it. He loved rasta mouse and the zing zillers, but everyone was great. Will defo be going next year and will pay to close to the front x

What a fantastic show Cbebbies was my 3 year old daughter loved every minute of it. We had seats in block 2 which were perfect so we had a great view. We loved everything about the show but our best bits were Mr Tumble as my little girl got to go on stage with him :) ask the staff we did. Also loved Katy from I can cook. I was impressed that the prices of face painting and ice cream was good value considering where we were. £4 face painting £3 for a very large tub of wippy ice cream with lots of sweets and sprinkles on top. A good tip is to use park on the drive.com as that's what we did. We parked for a drive for the day for £15 missing all the crazy wembley car park traffic. All in all. Super day for the whole family.

Hi cbeebies producers; id just like to say a huge thank you to you and your team for making cbeebies. I feel like it has been a very successful program and yous could make so much for a furure out of it. Me and my friend have been watching it for many yeas now and we feel its about time we give something back to yous to show how grateful we really are. So we'd like to take this opportuinity to visit you and your team and perform a live program of me and my friend matthew singing a song written just for the cbeebies crew. Not only would this make our day if you managed to get back to us but it would also be a massive opportunity to me my family matthew and friends. Thank you for your time.

Probably the venue could be better chosen as for the Wembley Arena the stage was small, thus could not really see performance properly. Also the plot sometimes felt as wasn't thoroughly thought through. Not worth the money and my 4 and 5 years old children weren't impressed either.

Was disappointed that the show (2012) was not shown on the big screen. For people sitting higher the faces of the stars could not be recognised. Show would have been so much better and would have attracted childrens attention more. Good storyline though

The show is terrible! The tickets cost 70 something for 3 people, and 10 pounds for parking, 3 pounds for a bag of popcorn plus other merchandise that children are attracted too! My daughter is 3 and even though the seats were near the stage, the sound was not good enough and did not seem to interest my daughter. The Teletubbies appeared briefly, for 2 minutes and 30 seconds and was just too short. Pingu, which we waited for so long did not do anything at all, just walking and was there among others that were totally uninteresting or unknown to me. Very very disappointing, Considering it lasted 30 minutes first act, 27 minutes break and other 35 minutes. I wish I thought better and went to the children`s theater instead, like usual.

Our 2 year old daughter was totally entertained for both the 1st and 2nd part of the CBeebies Live show. This is the first concert we took her to, and she will be going again. We got a family ticket for £45 and the seats were brilliant, we could see the whole stage..
Well Done Cbeebies for a lovely, wonderful show. Remember adults... this is a show for kids... its not for you to enjoy!

This was the first year we went to see CBeebies Live and I took my 3 year old and her 3 year old cousin. They both absolutely loved it and the faces on them when Mr Tumbles came out was something not to be missed. I wouldn't recommend it for children older than 5 as it is quite a basic show, but then I'm guessing children older than 5 wouldn't be watching cbeebies generally. Would suggest the tickets being reduced in price, wembley arena wasn't anywhere near as full as I'd expected. Will probably try disney on ice next year. But if you have 3/4 year olds who like cbeebies, I would certainly recommend this show.

Took our daughter last night, She initially was star struck when her Idol Justin came on stage, but quite quickly got bored, was no where near bright enough or loud enough. The general story was all the cbeebie charactors looking for treasure, the talking went on far too long and there was not enough song and dance (and even those there was they were not that familiar). Most of the kids got bored after the interval, Very disapointing especially if you consider the price of the tickets.

My 2 year old was really entertained but was fidgity in the second half, and my 4 year old said it was rubbish. Was very expensive and the merchandise prices? Well! What can I say? Ridiculous, and more than anything the kids were expecting IGGLE PIGGLE. Also disappointed about that.

My daughter (and I) both loved this show. All her favourites were there - Koala Brothers, Postman Pat, Boo, Teletubbies and the Tweenies. She sang the songs and danced along and her attention only waivered about 10 minutes from the end, which was good for a 3 year old.
The only thing is the price of the tickets, £22.50 for adults and £17.50 for children, makes it a very expensive day. We also bought a programme at £4 and a lightstick at £7 so it did add up. I feel if they made the tickets cheaper, especially for children, then it would attract many more people.

My son loved the show in January 2007, but was bored in January 2008. Whoever organises the show needs to do better this year. Shame, because it should be a really great show considering who is behind it.

Took my daughter to see this a couple of years ago as she loved all the cbeebies characters. But I was a bit disappointed with her reaction. She wasn't that interested.

I found CBeebies Live very simplistic format which was a bit disappointing for all the money paid. Toddlers however, enjoyed it very much.
Some characters seemed to be there for the sake of being there. So if your child has a particular favourite and it's not one of the main names, they may be surprised/disappointed at there almost cameo appearance.
That said will most likely be there again next year!
