I JUST USED THIS AWESOME PULSONIC SHAVER FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER THIS MONDAY MORNING MARCH 22ND 2010, I JUST BHOUGHT IT AND RECIEVED IT THIS PAST FRIDAY AND I MUST SAY THIS THING CUTS AS CLOSE AS A SIMPLE RAZOR BLADE, I HAD NO RAZOR BURNS OR REDNESS IN THE TOUGH TO REACH NECK REGION, I WAS NOT SUPRISED AT ALL I DID MONTHS OF RESEARCH AND ACTUALLY BHOUGHT A CHEAP NORELCO FROM WALMART WHICH DID A GOOD JOB BUT NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS SWEET MACHINE EVEN THOU ITS BEEN OUT FOR A FEW YEARS ITS NOT… Read Full Review

I got this shaver for Christmas (after 18 months of anticipation and reading many reviews due to it being the most expensive shaver on the market), and I wasn't let down. My model is actually the Braun Series 7 790cc, which is actually the same as the Braun 9595, but this is the retail model - I guarantee 100% it's the same model, so handy to know if you're trying an online shopping search.
I wanted the best electric shaver around because I have really heavy facial hair growth, and heard this…

I have just reverted to Braun 7 series Pulsonic after an Arcitec. The Philips gave a smooth shave but took an age. The Braun give an equally good shave in half the time. The secret (for both razors) is to use Kinexium shaving oil by King of Shabves prior to shaving and (contrary to Braun's recommendation) to wash face first. Bad points are poor case with no room to stow lead when you go on holiday. Good points are excellent shave and cleaning system… Read Full Review

Seven months after purchase my Braun 9595 Pulsonic shaver started to cut out every few seconds and became unusable. I felt the shave was never brilliant and the battery life was not great either in my opinion. One good point is that it does keep shaving at full power until the battery is depleted. My last two shavers were Braun but this one as well as being the most expensive has also seemed the worst… Read Full Review

I have a thick beard and it is the only electric razor that has worked for me. Really like the feel of the unit very aerodynamic.
The price is a bit much but if you do not mind that then I think it is perfect…

This is the worst Braun razor that I have ever owned! It gives a very poor shave and has stopped working on a number of occasions, just lucky that I live close to a service agent. The cutter has been replaced three times and the razor has also been completely rebuilt including a new motor. I regret buying the Pulsonic 9595 razor and cannot recommend it, I will not buy another Braun razor which is a shame because I have always found Braun to be one of the best electric razors on the market… Read Full Review

I just got my Braun Pulsonic 9595 today. This is my first ever electric shaver, I have used a razor ever since I was about 12/13 and have a thick beard that grows quick.
If I wet shave in the morning its back by the evening, even going against the grain, that kind of gives you an idea of my beard.
I tested this out today and was a bit unsure on how it would perform after reading some mixed review, but I was very pleasantly surprised.
Gives an excellent shave, does require you to go over the same…

If I could find a contact for Braun in the UK other than a service centre I would be demanding my money back. I have been shaving for 30 years and find that if I have a meeting at lunchtime I have to have another shave using my pocket Braun costing £12 which gives a better longer lasting shave. I HATE the 9565. I think the plastic box it travels in is nasty, there is no foil protector, the charging bit is in the cable so all the braun cables I have collected over the years and still use… Read Full Review

I think the Braun 9595 Pulsonic Shaver is technology for the sake of it which in fact reduces the effectiveness by a significant amount. I would suggest you buy something half the price that isn't Pulsonic and you'll be fine. Mine is now boxed up and will probably end up in the bin in a few years to come… Read Full Review

I have had Braun shavers for the last 20 years. Braun 9595 Pulsonic is by far the best but still has faults. A shame as this is an expensive shaver. I think the carry case is very cheap and nasty… Read Full Review

Review of Braun 9595 Pulsonic Shaver - After 20 years of Philishave products I searched the web for a new shaver and read some good reviews on the Braun, the day it arrived my which? magazine arrived and it was not even listed. I am very disappointed with my purchase, when I shave I use moisturiser and can feel all the missed hairs no matter how long or carefully I have shaved, it does shave my top lip better than even a wet shave but it is a pity the rest of it is so poor. It was expensive but… Read Full Review

Glenn,
<br/>I am experiencing the same cutting out problem when the shaver is fully charged and also when running it on the cable. Have you found anyone at Braun who has a solution?
