“Nothing special ”

Written on: 19/08/2019 by Rj1989 (1 review written)

As a huge utd fan I was disappointed. You get a pic in the dugout. A pic in the changing room. But other than that it was basically what you experience on a match day. I was also shocked the cafe were asking for £3.90 for ONE standard bottle of coke. After paying to see the museum we were also asked to Pay extra to have a pic with the treble winning trophies. Absolute farce if I'm honest… Read Full Review

“Clay shooting ”

Written on: 18/08/2019 by Arfearn (1 review written)

As I’ve never fired a shot gun before I was a little bit worried but I must say the training we received before & during the shooting was first class from the person I dealt with at the Nottingham district gun club he was both friendly & knowledgable which enabled us to fully enjoy our day clay shooting… Read Full Review

“A brilliant experience ”

Written on: 18/08/2019

Fabulous day tasting champagne, wine, cheese and chocolate. Our wine expert was very enthusiastic and passionate. The wines he chose were an excellent choice that complemented the delicious cheeses. I don't normally like red wine, however I enjoyed all the wines including the reds. I would thoroughly recommend the experience. Definitely will return… Read Full Review

“Good food & well looked after ”

Written on: 18/08/2019 by Frost181 (1 review written)

We enjoyed our lunch at The Clink. We’ve been wanting to go there for a while, and had heard good reviews from others locally. The food was good & services good from the staff there. The building itself was stunning, set in an old church. Lots of beautiful features restored. We will likely return for breakfast or afternoon tea another timeZ… Read Full Review

“Extremely dissapointing food at Silk Restaurant.”

Written on: 17/08/2019

The interesting surroundings of the wood panelled ex-magistrates court was undermined by the poor quality of the food. The scallops were tepid with no colour on the outside, the duck was dry, underseasoned and lacking a good sauce and the mango creme brûlée was unlikely to have seen a blowtorch as the crust was cold and limp while the creme underneath lacked the sumptuous velvety texture expected. It felt decidedly like it had been cooked in the microwave. 'Fusion' gets a poor name here… Read Full Review

“Our First Spa Experience ”

Written on: 15/08/2019 by MrandMrsZ (1 review written)

As our first time going to a spa, we were quite nervous as to what to expect when we get there. At first we were given a set of Robe and Slippers to change into. Our Therapist was awaiting for us and we in turns went for our mind blowing experience of a body scrub and back massage. She knew exactly what she was doing and got us completely revitalised. Our stiff and knotty backs got put in ease with a lot of attention. We walked in like penguins and walked out like superstars!… Read Full Review

Took my girlfriend for her birthday and thought right ok experience voucher through work will be an experience an a chance to impress. Electric didn’t work in the room and no spa robes when we got there. Guy at reception told us to wait in the bar but never came back to tell us if anything had been fixed. Went back to the room an hour n half later still couldn’t work the electric and still no robes. Went back down then the electric got fixed but had to go back again for robes8pm before we… Read Full Review

“Disappointed with Virgin and the Royal Albert Hall”

Written on: 14/08/2019 by Blairzo455 (1 review written)

Virgin had sold a voucher for another event that couldn't be redeemed due to planned building works. Finding that out and changing it to this tour of the Royal Albert Hall took nearly 3 hours on the phone! The RAH tour was limited as rehearsals were underway, but with around 400 events a year this is nearly always going to happen. Saw very little that's not open to the public. The guide was good though. The Maitre D' in the restaurant checked the tickets then gave out the wrong menu. We were… Read Full Review

“Fun, fun, fun. When can I go again?”

Written on: 14/08/2019 by alliemanley (1 review written)

Having always been a fan of War of the Worlds I was intrigued by the idea of the immersive experience and it did not disappoint. All the staff/cast were really engaged in their characters and the whole set up blew me away. We booked a gold off peak ticket and had the best night out. The deal included champagne on arrival and a one course meal. We expected a glass of Prosecco or similar each, but actually received an entire bottle of Moet & Chandon which was a real bonus. We had a glass before… Read Full Review

“Poor and not as described, avoid”

Written on: 13/08/2019 by Holder168 (1 review written)

Bought as a birthday treat we traveled to London from Sussex and were hugely disappointed because the surroundings are tired and lack-luster, there was a speaker over our table playing loud music (turned down slightly on request) and worst of all the food was poor; scrappy untasty sandwiches, stodgy cakes - certainly not patisserie - all served on a wooden cake stand of sorts. The staff were polite and friendly but we felt taken in… Read Full Review

“Great Fun! Over the top at O2”

Written on: 13/08/2019

We booked May for an August climb, thinking weather would be good! Yellow weather warning weekend, however, no climbs were cancelled, it was rather windy, but would have been anyway! The two guys were very encouraging on the climb. I am a large lady, so was worried the harness would not fit, but that was no problem although I could not zip up the gilet, it was steep, did suggest going last, was worried about holding people up! But, was in the middle and LOVED it!… Read Full Review

“Very nice and reasonably priced”

Written on: 12/08/2019 by BobOverstone1 (1 review written)

Friendly and efficient staff with very reasonably priced lunchtime menu. The gin tasting was very informative and well presented by our mixologist. Only drawback ..... and it's mostly our fault.....is that we failed to notice that extra items such as chips and veg, need to be ordered separately. Therefore when our main course arrived it was a lone pork chop with a bit of garnish. As stated mostly our fault, but the person taking the order could surely have give us a nudge. Would recommend though… Read Full Review
