I agree with all the other 5 star reviews here. We bought it as we got into the London 2012 and have found it really accessible and addictive. Great family game for up to 4 players. 20 real Olympic events to play. As you start to win you unlock some excellent additional stages. Would highly recommend to anyone with a Wii and who has enjoyed the Olympic and paralympics this summer - will prolong the memories as it gets cold and wet and Wintery.

This game is startlingly good!
I have waiting all my life for a game as playable and accessible as this to come out.
I have heard people criticise it for being 'too easy' and that's exactly what i like about it!
I am not a gaming expert and I am rarely to be seen using a console. The reason? I am (probably) the worst person I know at playing most games. From Pro Evolution Soccer to Tekken; I am awful. Add to that the fact that I am not a world beating athlete, or indeed an anything beating athlete, and you've got a pretty clear picture of the kind of guy I am.
Fat, but maybe not that fat is the image I strive for.
Imagine my delight, then, when i first picked up a wii remote in one hand and a nunchuck in the other, held down the 'B' button and released it just at the right time to give Yoshi a perfect 'off-the-blocks' start and frantically pumped the controls up and down, imagining, just for that moment that I was Usain Bolt, an won the 100 metres!
Buy this game (don't buy the Winter Olympics game- unless you want to be brought crashing back down to the level of games console failure and uber-nerd wannabe)

This a great game for younger ages as they like choosing Mario, Sonic, Daisy etc. Some of the game play is excellent and very realistic. It's a bit easy for adults and I guess for my children when they start to beat me at everything (soon)! Good fun but longevity and appeal runs out after a couple of months.

Great game to play with friends or on your own. The controls seem complexed at first but most events carry the same sort of basic rules just with a few extra twists... Loving the Single Skull, Table Tennis and Trampolining (Can not spell) Anyone thrown the javelin further than 101metres? Well recommend Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games!

This is a very addictive game and you end up playing until the small hours trying to get a new world or Olympic record - I now hold the hammer throw and javelin WR & OR! If only......

An excellent game which will appeal to many. Just let down by the fact it relies on the multiplayer to bring you back to play again.

I think this is a brilliant game no doubt about it. It comes into its own when played with other friends (especially competitive ones) as I would argue people of all skill levels will enjoy Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games immensly.

An amazing game that is well worth the money. The Olympics couldn't feel more real. Any hardcore gamer should definitely pick up this title. Motion sensing on the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller add for a feel that actually puts you in the Olympic games with games such as the Hammer Toss, 100 meter dash, 100 meter hurtles, high jump, long jump, javelin throw, swimming, trampoline, table tennis, fencing, and many more!

Overall this game is great. There are loads of brilliant games from the Olympics to play such as swimming, running, shooting, long jump and many more. When you come first in any one of these games you open up a new game to play then when you complete that game, that as well opens up a new one. This is a must have game for Christmas for both adults and children.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has all the qualities of a fantastic game, great graphics and sound and amazing gameplay. It uses the Wii remote well and is extremely fun to play. The characters all have their own special strengths etc sonic is extremely fast. This is a must have for Christmas and is fun for all the family.

I think this is a brilliant game because it has colourful graphics and brilliant gameplay.
When you walk around and try to find games, you will definitely find Mario and Sonic at the Olympics as it has an eye catching cover.
I think kids and adults will love to play this game because of the games and sports you can play.
You get the game and inside is an instruction manual and safety booklet for the Wii.
It has great concept for the game and has been designed for full entertainment.
I think this is a great game and i hope you have enjoyed reading this review.
Thanks,
Mel x

I have recently got this game (mario & amp; sonic at the Olympic games) and it is one of the most appealing games we have hardly turned it off Theres a family favorite character for everybody as not all want to be sonic or mario but you can also put your own mii into the game as well. Skeet javelin hammer throwing and trampoline are our favorites. It is a game that i would recommend to anyone as it has something for all the family to play regardless of age or ability.

OH Yes I've got Mario and Sonic at the Olympics and it is great. There are so many different events I haven't even managed to play them all the easiest for me has to be the fencing I'm untouchable gold, gold, gold. But shooting, how you supposed to hit those things. Anyway Team sonic is winning (who else!) I've just found out my Mii can enter (I know I should read the instructions but that takes to long, I just want to play the game) so now my Mii has joined team sonic and is thrashing the others. When I first started playing even Sonic was getting beaten by the elderly mario but the more I play the better I get. Right writing this is taking up valuable playing time whats next, ah the 100 meter butterfly.

I love this game and really want to play every day. It is probably the best game of the year made by Nintendo and I hope everybody will buy it because of the great graphics and group play. The characters are put into 4 groups Technical, Power, Skill and Speed and you can also play as a CHARACTER.
