“Long Term Customer Driven To Despair”

I have used EUK for a number of years and the service has now become unacceptable. They take days to open support tickets even when they say they are marked as urgent. Their billing system and eNlight cloud services do not work at all and you are billed random amounts without being able to actually access and view what the charges are for. The rest of the good reviews on here are simply from instances where their support are able to carry out basic requests and you are specifically asked to post a comment which is then added here so it makes it look like good service but the reality is far from that. I have been threatened by EUK Host that they will suspend my accounts if I take any legal action against them for my complaints. At this moment in time I have called about a billing issue and was transferred, I have now been sitting on the phone for 45 mins and no one will answer and no managers available as they are all apparently training, no billing support available and so as their system will not add funds to my servers these will now go offline and there is nothing I can do about it. AVOID THIS COMPANY --REALLY AVOID THEM.

“WORST WEBSITE & EMAIL HOSTING COMPANY”

EUKHOST HAVE RUINED MY BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THE BAD WEBSITE AND EMAIL SERVICE THEY OFFER. I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS FOR 6 MONTHS WITH MY WEBSITES AND EMAILS CONSTACTLY BEING HACKED AND WHEN ASKED FOR HELP THEY DID A QUICK FIX SAYING EVERYTHING IS FINE BUT THEN IT ONLY HAPPENS AGAIN 2 WEEKS LATER AND THE CYCLE HAS CONTINUED. I HAVE NO TRUST IN THEM ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT HELPED ME WHEN I HAVE CRIED OUT FOR HELP AFTER LOSING MY FIRST CLIENT THAT I HAD FOR YEARS BECAUSE OF THIS EMAIL HOSTING ISSUE. THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN ME SIMPLE ADVICE TO SORT OUT THIS PROBLEM THAT I HAVE FOUUND OUT NOW FROM ANOTHER HOSTING COMPANY THAT WOULD HAVE SAVED MY BUSINESS. AS IT STANDS I HAVE JUST LOST 2 CLIENTS WITHIN 2 WEEKS AND PROBLEMS HAVE OCCURED AGAIN AND I HAVE LOST ALL CONFIDENCE IN THEIR SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. THIS WADS A SIMPLE ISSUE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN SOLVED STRAIGHT AWAY WITH THE RIGHT ADVICE IF THEY WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE PROBLEMS I ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT AND GIVE ME THE INFOMRATION I ASKED FOR BUT THEY DONT THEY JUST DO A QUICK FIX RATHER THAN TRY TO HELP YOU TO FIX THE ISSUES. I AM ABOUT TO LOSE ANOTHER CLIENT SO I AM TRANSFERRING MY WEB AND EMAIL HOSTING TO A COMPANY THAT OFFERS MUCH MORE SUPPORT AND SECURITY THAN THIS COMPANY.

“Unbelievably bad service that has cost our company...”

EUK is the worst hosting provider out there. several years ago we moved all out domains to another provider becuase of poor service and lack of support. Her is what EUK have just dont to my business. The deleted my main account that had 1 domain left, it was a business domain. They just went ahead and deleted our account. The domain expired and now we have lost all our emails. I cant recreate the account to renew our domain. EUK are being very unhelpful and now this is in the hands of lawyers. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! IF YOUR SERIOUS ABOUT BUSINESS EUK IS NOT FOR YOU. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE ENGLISH SPEAKING LIVE CHAT HELP. ITS ONE HUGE JOKE. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Been with them a Decade - They Keep getting Worse”

I was a very loyal customer of theres, spending hundreds of pounds per month any was quite happy with the service, however it seams like every 12 months I have at least day of unexpected downtime :( over the last 9 months, I have moved 95% of my hosting to a different UK Based hosting cloud company for 10% of what my eUKHost bill was, and been actively monitoring the downtime, in 9 months ive had a grand total of 3 instances of downtime, with an average duration of 3 minutes per issue, latency issues once lasting 35 minutes but the servers were still active, and 0 serious network issues! Shop around - there are a lot better companies out there, eUKHost have great sales teams, but unfortunately the technical teams are in my opinion understaffed / undertrained to do what they have to do and can not fulfil the demands of this business. As for there no quibble refunds, read the small print very carefully as I sure had to fight to get a refund from them when they set up one of the timed services 24 hour late and I canceled.

“EUKHost Destroyed My website.”

I have been a customer of them for 7 years, recently, I just a had a little problem getting into my cpanel. They said there was problem with my server, so they created a new one, I thought, ok, fine, they transferred everything over to my new ip, upon login in with my new login details, it seems that I've gone from C-Panel X to a trial "cpanel accelerated 2" the whole design was different, I really preferred the other version, I thought, ok, I got to put up with this rubbish. Upon inspection, my forum was still disabled, mysql was no longer there, another issue, I needed to changed my password to something easy I can remember instead of all letters, numbers and symbols, I tried renaming it to something easy and I get stupid message, Password Strength Must Be At Lease 90, I contacted EUKHOST regarding this issue and all they did was brought it down by 50%, this still won't work for me, I have other users who use easy passwords and I want particular password which is difficult to crack, but wasn't allowed to use it unless I've got stupid symbols, numbers and letters together. When contacting them regarding this, their answer to this was practically "this is what I've got and this is what you have to put up with", not exactly in those words but the jiff of it. I am so angry at them, I am now looking for a new server provider, I have paid theses guys £59 a month £708 a year to use their services and it's really good until now when they did this too me. Not only have they effected my use of the password system, but they effected my users, my website and the whole control and I have lost 15% of my content which I have collected over 14 years. Thanks for nothing EUKHOST, you've just lost a valuable customer.

“What a joke of a company”

We had issues with a dedicated server provided by EUKhost, kept going offline, they kept messing it up by updates and downtime was almost constant. Towards the end my server was offline more than it was online - we dropped them like they were hot. We currently have 2 small shared hosting accounts with them and I'm visiting the live chat almost daily when they go offline - I have not got the time to migrate the sites but I feel so strongly about how rubbish this company is to take the time out and review them. This company has gone downhill please do not use them or you will get a headache.

Avoid at all costs. - Customer support in India - all completely incompetent. - UK staff couldn't care less about their customers. - Uptime is something of a golden unicorn, good look keeping anything online at all - Infrastructure, clearly too big for them to handle

“Worst Hosting Provider I have seen ever”

Hi Guys, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A BIG NO FOR EUKHOST TO ANYONE. I have faced worst hosting service experience from last 8 months with eUKHost. They have illiterate people in their team who don't understand the meaning of live server. On an average every month their server get down twice. THEY JUST SUCK THE MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HELPLESS... THEY ARE NOT SUPPORTIVE. MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE CLUELESS WHAT IS THE ISSUE. MOST OF THE TIME DOWNTIME IS MORE THAN 5-6 HOURS WHICH IS TOO MUCH FOR A SERVER AND ULTIMATELY AN ONLINE BUSINESS. At this point of time 10th Oct 2013, 10:20AM IST. there server is down and I am following them from last 2 hours. Their customer support team is saying it will take another 2 hours. FINALLY I HAVE DECIDED TO SWITCH THE SERVER FROM EUKHOST (PATHETIC AND WORST SERVICE PROVIDER). ** SAY A BIG NO FOR EUKHOST ** NEVER HOST YOUR SITES WITH THEM ** Thanks, Deelip

“Don't use this company!”

Great customer service - it's always nice to speak to someone helpful the NUMEROUS times that I have had to call EUKHost because my website has gone down. What's more they'll often refuse to accept that the problem is theirs. My blog regularly experiences downtime (handily, at the times I need it to be live most). Don't use this company.

The support staff do not read the full issue... They clearly only read what they want to and then come back with a totally unrelated answer! The technical knowledge of the Indian support staff is shocking! - They fail to pass on complaints. Stay away! - look for a better host and one that has its technical support in england!

“Thieves”

The title sumarize it all. EUK host over charged me and now its being a month that I am chasing a refund but still no sign. It is all good unless you came across an issue and now it is un-acceptable. First they tried to put the blame on GoCardLess that is a third party who collect direct debit payments on their behalf but when nothing worked now they are just keep promosing a fture date. I am going to raise it with trading standards but now YOU ARE WARNED so keep away from this company.

“Very unreliable and expensive”

I've used Eukhost for 3 years, and spend thousands pounds on their dedicated servers. During 3 years, I've had 3 dedicated servers with them. What I can say - they are really expensive and their servers are not reliable. Bad and outdated hardware and software. Now I found better servers from other hosting provider which are 70 per cent cheaper, but twice more powerful. The only reason why I did not migrated from Eukhost earlier is because I could not interrupt my online business (which is quite big) even for 1 day. But now I'm really happy and would never recommend Eukhost to anyone. During using Eukhost, I've lost thousands pounds on their old servers, had a lot of technical issuies and overall it was nightmare. The only good thing I have to say is that Eukhost have got good online chat system which can be contacted 24 hours a day. But would you overpay for it as much as I did? My conclusion - just avoid Eukhost!

“Appalling Reliability”

We are a web design company with 13 years experience. We have dedicated servers elsewhere, but thought we would spread the load by having an alternative elsewhere, so we trialed shared hosting for one site. It was a disaster. The website was constantly down, data disappeared from a database, the FTP passwords kept mysteriously changing, the 'live chat' support was painful, their so called mail security blocked emails sent from the website forms, etc, etc. We thought it must surely settle down, but it never did. We gave up after about 15 months of constant hassle. If you are looking for a reliable host, look elsewhere!!!

I really like simply paying for a good product and keeping it running. Ok I may pay a premium but I'd sooner have something good than cheap. I've never had such a problem with trying to pay for a product, Nor have I ever been treated so badly by a call centre person. Their service made me sad and gave me lots of stress - Please go somewhere else unless you want the same. Worse Indian call centre I've ever used. They refused to listen, talked over me and hung up on me. They disconnected my hosting: even after I'd paid, had reassurances from them that everything was fine, informing me that It was my problem that they couldn't see the payment from my bank. they treated me like I was inferior. All i wanted was to have a nice chat, give them some money and keep my service running. I deserve better ... Don't you?

“Terrible Service & Staff That Dont Listen”

Well Wirral Talk moved to E UK Host for a short period a few weeks ago and OMG what a nightmare it was. The hosting in general was ok but there security is terrible and any slight attacks to websites there servers cannot stand and at one point there server was down for two days without even stating that it was down on there status page. The staff at this company are polite but OMG they do not listen at all, even if you go to management they still don't listen. At one point when there server was down i asked what the problem was because nothing was showing on there status page and i received a reply saying take a look at our status page the server is down, so i said no the status page says resolved and again they said check the status page its just like talking to a robot. I even had my own IP blocked many of times due to my computer email client searching for emails every 15 minutes this was looked into by management and even though they said it had been fixed it hadn't. I then requested a refund and cancellation of my account under the 30 day money back guarantee and after monitoring the ticket i opened i found someone changed the department from "billing" to "feedback" and i replied to myself a few times stating that i will take this to a small claims court and they will then have to pay costs. Which funnily enough i received a reply from a female stating to be the owner saying "please confirm you want to to cancel" and she said the feedback department is not monitored 24/7 7 days a week which i had to repeat yet again "no this was changed by a member of your team". AGAIN I GOT BLANKED... So i mentioned the small claims court again to be asked yet again "please confirm you want to cancel" OMG twice now i have told them i want to cancel and receive a refund and she had also said "as i have previously told you our feedback isn't monitored" As you can see round and round in circles confirming and saying the same thing all because not one of there staff listen. So now i have confirmed twice now and still not received a refund. So this continues... Can i also add that after member receive help from each advisor they ask some people to leave good feedback on here and to mention there name so most of the reviews on here arnt genuine there actually being asked to do it and mention staff names. Me personally i think its only one member of staff working on the live chat and using different names because they all speak and say the same things. A lot of falseness to it and the CEO isnt interested either when i contacted him.
