“Harrassing a widow for payment”

I joined DW Inverness in April for myself and my two young children to use the pool. At the time of signing up, I explained I was recently widowed and was having legal difficulties with my partners children regarding my home and other items. I would leave zero stars if possible. This gym is awfully overpriced, compared to other gyms in the area they charge at least double if not triple for services that are poor, terrible customer service and poor business standards. I would definitely recommend that you steer clear of this gym. Not only is it overpriced they will use loopholes in order to attempt to take more money from you. “Overcharging ”

Be careful people. I have cancelled my membership couple of months back. I have been at Netherfield in Nottingham and informed them over the counter I would like to cancelled my membership and I am ok to cancel my direct debit. I have receive a call of them demanding payment for outstanding montha as up to their details I have never told them. The ménager told me the case will be passed to debt collectors if I will not pay. “OVERCHARGING”

Beware this company overcharging and refusing to pay back your money. They charged me 4 times in one month and even after the manager and his assistants and the staff responsible chased the head office for several weeks they still wont refund my money. Perhaps they have financial difficulties? They claimed they couldnt find the money? What is their accounting system or are they surviving in a shoestring? I began my membership with the gym over a year ago and was told in september when my 12 months was up I could cancel. “taken £646 of my money”

Well when I called the helpline and complained and eventually spoke to someone, see informed me I won’t get a refund and I still have to give them a months notice - so to pay another months subscription

The gym was great when it was new but over a only a few years the quality greatly deteriorated. There was no investment in repairing damaged facilities. Eventually I moved away to work abroad, I tried to cancel my membership a number of times but the team at my gym refused to help unless I came into the branch. MK DW is known as Sesame Street - it hosts the biggest gathering of Muppets in the UK. You'd think that gym etiquette had been banned there. Few members bother with sweat towels or putting their weights away after themselves. I had the same problem. Cancelled my membership because I never had the time and they charged me £249 3 months later and told me I had 2 weeks to pay although when I joined they never told me that I would have to pay for the rest of the year if I cancelled before my membership ran out. They couldn't run a bath never mind a gym

Same happened to me after my relationship fell apart and my former partner paid my membership, I had to block their calls after they were harassing me by phone whilst I was at work, they have sent me bailiffs letters for the money they say I owe, even though they never mentioned any of this nor a cancellation fee when I signed up!!! As if the breakdown of my marriage isn't enough to deal with I now have this hanging over my head. I couldn't afford to join in the first place and that's why my ex did the direct debit!! I am pretty sure this debacle they lead customers into would be of interest to the FSA under Mis-selling a product??

Filthy, smelly rat infested carpark! Gym no better urinals not been working for 3 weeks so people peeing in sinks spa and pool. changing rooms discussing shower smell like sewerage. 50% of the equipment doesn't work and takes months to get fixed.
