They shut down their customer service via WhatsApp (and phone before that) after many parcels are stuck for a month in customs.

They continuously delete bad reviews on Facebook, and don't answer anyone.

They used to be great years ago, now they are just plain horrible.

Please beware, and try to find other alternatives.

When I first logged on to the internet about 6 yrs ago i did not have the faintest idea that people would be actually swiping their cards or making payments using email accounts (paypal) one day, to buy and sell stuff on the internet. Then I came to know about eBay...the first online shopping site which swept the world off it's feet and then there was a revolution which changed the meaning of "buying" and "selling". Suddenly everything was online.

I enjoyed my part of the fun of being a seller and buying a lot of stuff through eBay. No doubt eBay revolutionalized selling and buying and is still considered the no1 online shopping site in the world.

However, somehow the whole idea about auctioning, buying and selling on eBay became very difficult as the website further developed and grew in terms of members and its features, now i find everything so confusing on ebay. Also there are the charges which i feel are too costly for a small seller like me. Hence i decided hunt for new online shopping sites like "uShops" and my review today is based on this.

It's still a new site compared to ebay in terms of members and the no of transactions but has a lot of potential for the future. The site is like a virtual mall where sellers open up shops and list their items in the shop. The shop can be of anything except products forbidden from listing under their terms and policies. The seller can also attach a banner of his SHOP and make public annoucements from time to time for eg : for giving discounts.

I particularly liked the site as it looks like a no nonsense site in terms of design which is topnotch. The design is clean and the site is very user friendly. Also the site has a catalogue page which have high resolution pictures of latest and older products and the catalogue keeps getting updated everytime a user lists a new product. They also have an any feature where users can search for a product through a color pallette on the site. The Blog and Forum are interesting and neat.

The customer service in terms of the quality of response and the time taken to reply is just great. You can report bugs, errors, suggestions and questions acc to their categories or just simply interact with other sellers on the ushops forum. You can also comment on a product and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down or mark an item as interesting. It also has my account link where users can see the items they are selling, items sold and other such features.

It is a free site which means users do not pay for any charges or commission on listing or buying any product.

Members keep getting newletters every month updating them on the latest developments and future features about the site. In all ushops is a great site whith a unique idea and has a great deal to offer in the future.
