Transmission is the Channel 4 music show that showcases live performances from the latest, most popular indie, rock and pop artists. There's usually a couple of non music guests there for a chat (and probably to promote their new dvd or something), comedians and the like. There's a good live feel to the whole thing, set in a different disused building around the UK each week but I get the feeling you'd appreciate it more if you were actually there. Presenters are OK but Lauren Laverne's Geordie accent grates after a while. Not bad if you're in on a friday night as there's usually nothing else on terrestrial TV that's worth watching at that time of night, but not the most amazing music show either. Have to say I much prefer Jools Holland.
