“Cooker Caught Fire”

We bought one of these from Go Outdoors a few weeks ago and on the first time of using the underneath caught fire. The plastic base and even the burner melted and we had to throw water over it to put the fire out. In my option this cooker is dangerous and should not be on sale. Unlike most stoves this one is of a "flat" design and the gas canister sits by the side of it in a seperate compartment, this means that the canister can be changed easily if it runs out mid-brew up and it has a safety interlock to prevent a full one being inserted with the gas control on. It comes in a carry case which is handy but the plastic on this does seem a bit thin. In a weeks camping for the two of us we got through 2 cylinders which did our A.M./P.M. brew and evening meal.
