Holroyd Farm Oak-aged Shiraz Petit Verdot 2005 Win
Holroyd Farm Oak-Aged Shiraz Petit Verdot 2005 wine is great tasting and full bodied. This wine tastes amazing with a good roast beef dinner or peppered steak, or get some good cheeses, including some Stilton and Brie, and if you can get your hands on it, some young Dutch cheese. This wine is perfect for a romantic meal for two, or if you have friends over for dinner. Get a few bottles and enjoy this the whole night, starting off with your mains and drinking it with a rich cheese board afterwards. Also perfect for BBQ's with some barbecued lamb steaks and well seasoned steak.
I got this wine through the Laithwaites Wine Club, which is very good. Their notes on this wine told me it had won two awards. A Silver one in the Melbourne Wine Show in 2006 and a Bronze on the International Wine Challenge in the UK in 2007. I found this out after drinking it, and I can definitely see why! Beautiful!
Perfect!!!
