Whilst we had a good time I wouldn’t advise for anyone with sensitive skin. Both my son and my own eyes were burning for 2 days after visit due to so much chlorine in the water. We go swimming a lot at normal pools and never had this before. They basically employ kids so service isn’t the best and it’s quite pricey for what you get.

Such a great day, well organised lovely staff. Good changing facilities, the water slides were so much fun and well worth the price. Will definitely be visiting again. And will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

On arrival I noticed that what we had paid for was for a 3 hour stay however when we booked it we thought it was 2 hours, even for 2 hours the price is amazing so we was really happy when we realised it’s actually 3 hours. The price you pay is well worth it. Range of slides for everyone so that’s good, we went on them all. A few slides you had to wait longer than others but just like anywhere really. As we left a staff member approached us and asked if we enjoyed our time and also to have a safe journey, which I thought was lovely. Would highly recommend, shame it’s 4 hours away from where we live but hope to return in the future.

Thought Park was a little expensive at first to get in and some money on a wrist band for drinks etc 100. However within half an hour of been within the water park I felt it was money well spent. Kids aged 11, 12 and 4 and all of them loved the water slides the lazy river and other activities. Didn't need the extra wrist band for watersides as more then enough to occupy the best of thrill seekers without them. Spent from 9.30 - 2 and kids still didnt want to get out. Definitely will visit again.

I would like to say on the 1st instance this isnt the biggest indoor waterpark in the uk. Skegness butlins is twice the size. The cost is EXTORTION making it what should say is the " uks most expensive waterpark " 70.00 pounds thereabouts for adult an two kids with slides added on, with ur crappy food and drinks added on 100.00 pounds for a splash.... but if u live close u get 50% discount. A Tourist town 90 % of visitors are not local????? So sandcastle played a good hand there didnt they. Extra cost for rides making it the most expensive swim in the country. The place isnt big enougth for tourism with crammed pools. Sandcastle staff Save me the automated response along the lines of " thankyou for your views. We will take it onboard, and we hope it hasnt put you off visiting again ".

On my trip to Blackpool Sandcastle, I asked for directions to go on the first few slides considering my friend and I had never been before only to get laughed at by 3 out of the 4 Members of staff I asked. Whilst on the subject I had to ask this many members of staff because each person gave unclear and unhelpful advice, laughing or muttering under their breath. I then found out with the wristbands we had, we could only go on four slides out of the so called 18, and when asking a member of staff what would be available for our wristband we were told about the four which were literally the same slides and two slides for new borns and toddlers when my friend and I are 16. It is understandable that those are the rules, however whilst at at the desk purchasing our wristbands we were only told that if we payed seven pound more we would be able to access the hyperzone, which would of given us only TWO extra rides. The member of staff at the desk did not tell us about the purple wristband, black, blue and several other wristbands available that would enable us to access different areas of the water park and this being said neither did the website which I spent a long time on as it only mentioned the lowest possible wristband price (£15.50) which you could only go on four slides with. The whole experience may of been a fraction better if the staff weren't as rude to laugh in our faces when asking how to leave the water park after we spent thirty minutes searching for the exit, prior to this asking 2 other members of staff how to leave and them giving unclear directions and rude overall.

I went on 'The Sidewinder' it's was a very frightening slide whick when from side to side like a pirate ship, there are ridges and the ride is pieces of plastick screws together, I went on and it cut my legs and bottom on the ridges and I have had back pain every since. Everything else was brilliant but in my opinion, children shouldn't be allowed on 'The Sidwinder'! I will not be going again because the price is mostly paying to go on it and I am not planning on going on it and cutting myself again!

To sum it up be prepared to wait nearly an hour for hot dog and chips an be spoken to like rubish when you ask how long it going to be.

It looks good but i haven't been yet so I'll post a review when i get back home. I am really excited to be going in two or three days. The waterpark seems to have superb slides, fantastic food and rapid rivers. Me, my mum, my dad and my sisters are leaving tomorrow so i'd better go get packed! I'm not sure about the big rides, though because you have to pay more to get on them. Overall, i love the perfect pictures everyone has posted and 4.1/5 reviews agreed. I would like to know more slides and activities that are going to be there if anyone can comment that. If you can please comment your own reviews so i can see if i should still go. I'm paying on the door so i shall have plenty of time. If not, my tickets wouldn't arive on time! :)

Loved it and would defiantly visit again! I went as a birthday party and had a great time. It was great value for money and great for all ages.

Arrived to be told only family changing area open. This meant there were groups of males (age 30+) in showers/changing area with families. Paedophile's paradise! I don't think adults should be able to use family changing area unless they have children with them.
Some very rude and rough people using this pool. We put our things at a table, as everyone else did. A very rough and rude family moved our things and highjacked our table. The men weren't too bad, one twice suggested they should find their own table, but one of the women said 'I've found one'. They surrounded and intimidated myself and my son. As there were about 8 of them, surprisingly they picked on a woman and child, rather than a table of 8 people!!

It was amazing, I really enjoyed it. I had lots and lots of fun with all my friends, it was near the time of exams and it was grest to just let myself go! I really liked all the slides and the flowing waters that pushed you around. It was alot of fun and the food was excellent!!! I would definitley go back and stand under the big coconut that splashed at you :)
I think that the advertisments where great and told me everything i needed to know, I was informed on what i needed to bring (which wasnt much.)
However, I would of liked to of known what slides I had access to with the amound I paid.

me and my husband went to sandcastle but we have no kids, we thought it would be fun for everyone but it is deffo only good if you are under 14 or have kids under this age. The master blade is a OK slide and the water rollecoaster is also good but once you have done those 2 there's nothing else to do, adults wouldnt be able to cope a full day there. the river rapid is too small and not relaxing at all as there is kids swimming ererywhere. and there isn't enough boards and floating devices for everyone so the kids tend to pitch yours if you not carefull. not good value for the price, wnt go again

Good shop, fantastic slides, safe, well designed and I had fun. Friction burns from the slides, big so don't leave your children on their own or they could get lost. Very good day trip out, definitely recommended.

Professional friendly staff, brilliant slides, especially the Masterblaster. Food has improved a lot since the last time I went to the Sandcastle waterpark. I found the staff,(all staff) extremely polite and friendly. The lifeguards were all professional and attentive.

The Sandcastle at Blackpool is great fun for the kids but lacks in adult entertainment.
I'd recommend going early and leaving early; that way you will get to have clear eyes for the rest of the day!
