I agree with comments over delivery and Internet misleading, but that is also down to user not checking fully, it's in their small print - but when I spoke with the I had no issues, dealt with professionally and would definitely use again. I'm surprised at such a low overall score they have been given.

I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase from Laskys. I purchased a oven early October an given a delivery date mid November, when the appliance didn,t arrive I phoned their costomer service only to be told they sorced the oven from comets and now would not receave it, I thought Laskys had warehouse,s with own stock, it would appear they are only agents, I found their c/service unhelpful I will certainly not give them my custom in future, I have learnt a lesson from this event only to deal with online shops that hold their own stock

“Terrible Customer Service”

I ordered a washing machine from Lasky's. When I first click order, I was told it could be delivered on a date a week from the order date. But by the time I had got to choosing an order date, it was two weeks ahead. Although the front page of the website says ALL deliveries are free, I saw that actually many days WEREN'T free. So I chose a Wednesday (free delivery) and rearranged my work days around it. The Tuesday before the delivery day, I was called up to say, actually, it won't be delivered until the following Saturday. I called up and expressed my annoyance that they should have told me more than one day in advance and to confirm that I wouldn't be charged (Saturday being the most expensive delivery day). The woman said they didn't charge for delivery. I said they did. She laughed at me and said they didn't. I later emailed customer services to make a complaint - no response. After the delivery, I needed a receipt for a Samsung promotion I wanted to take advantage of. I called up, they said it would be with me the following Monday. A week and a half later, nothing. I contacted customer services, no answer again. It's been more than three weeks since my delivery and I still don't have a receipt, not even a response from customer services. I'll never be using this company again.

“very very upset”

My husband lost his job.its hard gor me to just throw money away .i did not recieve my delongi toaster which cost me 52 pounds.on the day of the delivery i got an email saying they wete out of stock which was 12 day later.im so upset i could cry.iam not rich..very poor and struggling.this behaviour is disgusting.they should be reported

“Lied about delivery”

Having purchaed a samsung laptop from Laskys online, I waited a week for delivery. After missing the delivery date by 3 days, I called customer service. They said it was in the hands of the courier. Still not received. I'm calling them tomorrow to request a refund, not looking forward to that process at all as I know it will most probably be a long winded one!

“Credit card payment problems”

Ordered a PC, payment declined - bank thought it might be a fraudulent transaction. Tried again after clearing it with my bank. Order accepted. 2 minutes later, got an email cancelling the order - no reason given. Contacted Laskys who told me my billing details didn't match my bank details. Emailed them again pointing out the transaction had been authorised by the bank, and where were they getting this info? No response. Now ordered it from a different supplier. Won't use Laskys again - poor service, lack of information.

Laskys are apparently a subsidiary of Comet. Since Comet are now no more, I guess Laskys are also defunct. In any event, their website www.laskys.com is "temporarily not available", so ni info I'm afraid.

“Never, ever again, Steering well clear of Laskys and...”

I will start by saying I have not shopped at Laskys since, and never will again. In fact I have warned people I know against spending money with them and comet. I tried to order my boyfriend a netbook from their website, it was on offer at a good price and said that they had some in stock. However when I tried to purchase it the website had a fault, so I had to wait till the next day. In the morning I tried ordering by phone. I got through to the call centre, which was so noisey me and the customer service adviser could barely hear each other, which in part I think did not help with how the conversation progressed. After going over and over and OVER the details, the customer service adviser placed my order, stating that they had them in stock and that it would be delivered, brilliant! Sounds good, they are about to take my money, but its twice the price! No,no I say, its supposed to be this much. To which the advisor says, "Oh no! I put in the wrong colour, sorry." So I wait another 15 minutes while they restart the order. Only to then tell me, that the one I want is no longer in stock. Great! So I asked, "so do you know when you will get some in? It's a birthday present." They tell me they cant say when they will be. So I am a bit worried and ask "but your company will be ordering some more?" they reply they cant tell me exactly what date they will come in, "so does this mean that your company are trying to get some back in stock?" again they tell me they can't tell me what day they will come in. Totally not answering the question but what ever. I should have stopped bothering then, the man was unhelpful, kept getting my name and order wrong, but the price seemed so good, so I placed the order. (time spent on phone 45+ minutes) And waited, and waited, and waited, the birthday was coming up so finally after hearing nothing I called up their customer services. When I finally got though, they got my name horribly wrong (despite me spelling it 3 times down the phone), why they thought my name could possibly be a swear word I don't know. They also told me that they weren't getting any more in and that they would give me a refund. Brilliant! Why they couldn't have contacted me to tell me this I don't know, instead they held onto my money for a month and a half until I contacted them! In the end I had to shop else where and didn't get the money back into my account in time to buy a netbook prior to his birthday. Waste of time and effort,customer services were rude, didn't care and didn't listen to any thing I had to say.

I purchased 2 products of Laskeys costing me a discounted total of £730.00. I was very doubtful when reading these reviews but Im very risk-taking so I took the risk. So on the delivery date they arrived at 3:00, and they were really nice, and advising where to place the products as we had just refurnished the kitchen, Great products, really satisfied. The products very amazingly in strong packages, and the fitting men have easil fitted the products. Definitely recommend.

“Worst Customer Service and Company Ever to Deal with”

I boughta brand new LG Washer/Dryer off Laskys last October which cost me £742.00 in total and was a top of the range LG Washer/Dryer. By April of this year 2012 the tumble dryer side of it was taking 4 hours to dry 2 towels! I emailed and rang up Laskys only to be told that LG have taken over the servicing contracts now and to ring LG. I subsequently did this and LG sent out an engineer who told me that on this particular model of washer/dryer the tumble dryers have a fault whereby the fluff gets caught up round the motors hence rendering the tumble dryer pretty much useless, but the engineer went away and ordered new parts in the hope that this might cure the problem. I was not happy with this and rang up Laskys and read them the 1979 "Sales of Goods Act" whereby good have to be Fit for Purpose etc. They told me that they don't care about the "Sale of Goods Act" and to refer back to LG!! I advised them that the duty of care is with the supplier and not the manufacturer but once again they did not care. I am disabled and cannot get out to hang washing out up the garden. I have been advised by LG in the meantime that the parts are coming from Korea and will take 10 days to get here so here I am with a broken down LG Washer/Dryer I cannot use that smells of burning when I use it that Laskys don't care about. I have asked for a replacement as I am a vulnerable person but once again they told me to go forth and multiply NICE huh? do not what ever you do buy off this company as clearly they do not care for their customers at all.

“Pleasantly Surprised!”

I recently bought a pc monitor from Laskys and then read a review after I had put the order in. From what I read I was a bit concerned should anything go wrong. When my monitor arrived it was not what I expected as the write up said it would have a moveable screen, however the screen is fixed. When I rang Laskys they couldn't have been more helpful and offered straightaway to either replace with another screen or get a courier to pick it up at my convienience. I am so pleased that I had a positive experience with their customer service. Thank you Laskys.

“Appaulling Customer Service, terrible company to deal...”

I've spent weeks deciding on some appliances for my new kitchen, trying to find a decent company to order them all through. Finally deciding on Laskys. What a mistake I made. They sent me two quotes, one for 4 applicances and one for 5. The figures didn't add up, so I went through them and they'd upped the website prices (pre multibuy discount) that I'd been quoted the day before. so instead of just adding the 5th item and discounting accordingly, it was showing them all still discounted but the original cost was more, cancelling out the discount. I queried this and they said that their prices change daily and I could buy using the original quote of the 4 items and then just add the 5th as a seperate transaction with a 3% discount but I'd have to do that with a seperate department. So I agreed. He took my card details for the first 4 items assuring me that there would be no problems with the final part of my order. Oh my word, I was put through to an extremely rude sales girl that said she could sell me the product but with no discount. I explained that I'd just spoke to this guy previously that had taken payment and that he said I could buy the final product at the price they'd quoted me. She refused, so I asked to be transferred back to him (as he's just transferred me to her) she said she couldn't do that. I asked to speak to somebody that could help me and she said don't shout at me (which I wasn't in the slightest) when I said how am I shouting at you I just want to speak to someone that can sort this out, she replied...Im now going to put the phone down on you and you can recall using the number on our website and slammed the phone down on me. I'd just spend 2 grand and that's the treatment I got. I called back and spoke to the original department that took my order and asked to speak to a manager after how rudely I'd just been treated only to be told that a manager would not be able to speak to me for 4 hours or even tomorrow. So I said I would cancel my order and get a refund if I could not get this sorted asap, adding this seemed crazy as they would miss out on £2000 worth of sales but they refused to let me speak to anyone. So I said I would go ahead with the cancellation and full refund only to be told that my request would be forwarded to the refund team and they would call me tomorrow to complete the refund transaction. The whole 10 minute experience was appaulling, the 3 people I spoke to were rude and unhelpful and didn't care two hoots if I purchased or cancelled. No managers to speak to and Laskys now have my money until tomorrow and no doubt I'll have to chase them again to get my refund. I can't imagine what their aftersales service would be like if an appliance went wrong! I'd rather pay more than give this awful company a penny of my money and I wouldn't recommend anyone using Laskys following the experience I've just encountered and I will certainly never consider using them in the future (if I do ever get the money back that I've just spent with them, only to be hung up on) very upsetting.

“Disobliging Customer Service”

Laskys just use product codes, not names. EG a Gaggia Brera is known as a Gaggia R19833/70. This makes it difficult to check you're getting the right item. When I came to Laskys from Nectar E Shops I thought I was ordering a Gaggia Brera but Nectar got it wrong - they had the code for a Unica (R19933/70), which was what Laskys sent. Laskys told me to ask Nectar for a carriage refund. They are linked to Nectar and should sort it out with Nectar for the sake of good customer relations.

“Late Delivery”

Although Laskys said it would take a week for delivery, it ended up taking nearly 4 weeks. I was contacted soon after I ordered and paid for the machine and told the bad news, why did they let me put the order through in the first place? I have tried leaving a review twice, but I expect because it is not a favourable one, it's not been added. I will not be using them again.

“gave up and cancelled”

Comet messed up my order so went to Lasky's - good price and free delivery. Stayed in all day waiting for delivery of my elderly mum's birthday present - phoned at 5pm - told it had been damaged. Bloke in call centre rescheduled and promised delivery on Monday 8-12 - having missed her birthday. Called 11am - delivery stuck in system - and promised that it would be delivered 8-12 Tuesday and I would be called if any problem. Called 9am today to check all was OK - NO IT IS NOT ... still no delivery so have cancelled order and mum is still awaiting her birthday present. No contact at all from anyone. Doesn't anyone want my business in these hard times !! NO stock locally or would have collected myself - Have now ordered from Amazon and in the meantime the price is £50 less !!

“Appalling Service”

I am regretting my decision of ordering a camera from Laskys. My camera din't arrive on the scheduled date - I took a day's leave waiting for the camera. While enquired with customer service, I was told that the delivery service ( Parcel Force) hasn't picked the item from warehouse. Well that doesn't sound professional. I wanted the camera very urgently and this news confirms that I did a blunder believeing Laskys. My advice : Please refrain ordering from Laskys, if you need your order on time. - G

We were very disappointed with the delivery service from Laskys. The first item was not even delivered to our house but taken straight to the nearest post office. We waited all day for it and the doorbell was in working order and if they did attempt to deliver as they claimed then why did they not leave a note to state that the item has been taken to the nearest post office ????? We waited all day for the other item and called them twice near the end of the day to find out if they will deliver and was told that they are running late but then we got a phone call at 8pm to say that they had run out of time and will not be delivering today and that we have to call their office the next day to get another delivery date - the cheek of them. Service is very poor and will not be purchasing from them again and will not be recommending them either !!!!!!!!
