Boots Opticians gave me the wrong prescription for my glasses and contactlenses for the last 10months i been suffering bad headaches. When i went to get copy of my hard copy last month thats when I realised that i was wearing the wrong prescription. When I questioned the lady who checked my eyes she wasn’t sure which prescription was ringht one for me. Sitting here in Boots Opticians in Bicester. Very disappointing. Don't seem to know or understand their products, terribly slow, not enough staff. Taking several visits to sort contact lenses out. “Beware if you fail to make a yearly check up ”

I have had lenses from Boots for years on their monthly scheme . Recently I moved and I was late in making the review appointment. After the 2 nd reminder I went to make an appointment which I had to wait over a month for. “Poor Quality Frames”

Had an eye test in Boots, Long Causeway Peterborough. Optician was good. I ordered a pair each of reading and long distance specs. As I was leaving the optician asked if I had considered contact lenses so I made an appointment for a contact lens test. I contacted BullRing Boots Opticians and enquired about providing my own frame to have the lens fitted as they call it in the trade a reglaze. I was informed by a rude young female that cost of reglaze is £90 and lens cost plus coating. Two years ago 2015 we received an invite to a branch of Boots Opticians which was MORE THAN AN HOURS DRIVE AWAY. We asked for our details to be deleted on their database. “Boots Contact Lens Contracts are Not Customer-Centric”

The glasses didnt seem right after a week so they did another eye test, corrected my perscription & re ordered my glasses. They came & seemed better. “Whats the point of a Customer service referance number?”

They emailed me with a reference number the same day and said they would be in touch within two working days. 5 days later still no response, so I sent a follow up email asking politely for a response. That was on the 10th of January. Guess what still no response. I purchased a pair of reading glasses from their Bletchley store following an eye test. My prescription is a balanced 2.5 in each eye. Very disappointed with the service in Boots Cornmarket Street, Oxford yesterday.
