HP 5660 ARRIVED OPENED & re-taped. Nothing in it but the printer. Made 6 calls and no printer tech could help me, referred me to supervisors and twice I hung up because of unacceptable wait times. Tried to email got a message "HP is not responding"! Called again phones are muffled, couldn't understand techs. Wasted 3 hrs doing this. finally got a tech I told I want a refund because of the horrible service and the printer does not work. I purchased a HP laptop and immediately had issues from the start. It froze, typing was incredibly slow and to make matters worse I was never able to get a reply via email. When I called the wait was over 30 minutes long and there was no call back available. There was a website available sent to me from HP however it turned out to be an infected virus and it made matters that much worse. “Burnt my house down”

I bought a lap top 3 months before my house burned. Well guess what while your lap top was charging it caught my room on fire and destroyed my home and the home of my 7 children!! “HP Cashback a trick to entice you to buy”

Finding myself needing a new printer in February 2015 I looked at a number of makes and models, amongst which I liked most a Hewlett Packard one but it was a bit over my budget. However, I found mention of a £40 Cashback offer if I bought direct from HP, although there was conflicting information online as to when the offer ended. I have been continuously disappointed with my HP laptop. It lacked performance right from the beginning. I ordered it to come with i5 processors and it came with i3's, if I wouldn't have known how to check I would have never known. Then the blue ray software stopped working within the first year. I thought HP was a trusted brand and thought they were renouned for good quality make. I purchased the compaq pressario CQ61 which is made by HP. After the first year the screen started to go, and it kept on over heating and then would switch off on its own. This was just after the warranty so HP did nothing. I took it to a shop and paid £100 and they replaced the fan and said the graphic card has died and it would be better for me to purchase a new laptop as graphic cards cost around £400… Read Full Review

bought a hp laptop...17e135nr...trouble right out of the box....unable to successfully burn cd after ripping...practically no tech support from hp helpline number....called a total of 6 times with 6 different stories on product malfunction[the best story being that it was Microsoft not allowing burning capabilities due to copyright infringement issues with artists]...product still under warranty as I bought about 2 weeks before trouble began and it wouldn't work the first time I used… Read Full Review

HP are dreadful that is why. I bought a top end HP model for over £1000 several years ago. It broke down in 6 months. The mother board fried. Luckily, it was within warranty but 6 months....come on. They fixed it. However, less than a year later I got the black screen of death. No longer in warranty. I checked online it was a known malfunction which HP refused to take ownership of per many consumer websites. I bought the HP pavilion notebook for my daughter for her school work in july 2012. I have had to bring it back to best buy twice to be fixed because the screen disappeard. after spending $100 for the first year warrantee they wanted $150 for the second year which I could not afford. “Hewlett Packard CHARGES once warranty runs out, BEWARE!”

I bought a Hewlett Packard notebook and I have regretted it ever since. I deliberately spent a decent amount of money on it to try and ensure that I had a quality product. The one that I picked was a DV51110EM, which has a blue-ray DVD player. If I had rated this when I first purchased it I would have given it a good rating. It looks very nice and was easy to set up.

Think of a very very long bargepole. Got it? A bargepole that would take a family of 5 all of their combined strength to lift from one end. Now double it. It's massive, right? OK now with that bargepole, if you could even touch one product from Hewlett Packard then my advice is do not. The products are sh*te and their after sales service are sh*te also. So there you are.
