This is a great family tent for UK camping. We started family camping in 2008, in a small 'starter' tent. It just couldn't cope with the awful weather of 2008 UK camping season. When it collapsed (again) on a hillside in Devon, and we moved into our friends' 2007 Hartford XXL (living in their tent for the rest of our holiday), our minds were made up. Plenty of space inside, had 6 adults and 1 teenager playing cards. Easy to assemble and take down. Very durable in stormy weather as we found out in August. This year. This is the second year in using tent, Folds down quite small for easy storage. excellent having two opening for exits when weather permitting… Read Full Review

This is the second Outwell tent we have purchased, the first one was the family dome plus, we loved it but made several observations that we knew would have to be met if we bought another tent. We had 6 wonderful years camping in the Family Dome but knew that if we were to have 11 days constant rain that we needed more space.
