bought a game on 10/12/10 still hasnt been delivered but they are quick enough to take your money!!!!

DO NOT USE i have phoned and sent 20 emails and still no reply phone just rings out

Hi just wanted to let you know, I bought a game from whybuygames and i have found out they have now closed,I phoned them steady for 2 days with no answer,I phoned the bank and they cant guarentee me refund of my money.They are a dogedy website so please stay away as i have learned a harsh lesson ..Thx Joe

Two words to sum up Whybuygames.com ... Daylight Robbery. I have a strong feeling the companies gone into liquidation hence why their not responding to any of my emails or telephone calls. I rented a game nearly a YEAR ago, didn't come in the post, contacted them on numerous occasions about this but still no answer so they expect me to pay full price for the privilege of renting one game at a time when in fact i'm paying for two! Daylight robbery.

In conclusion BE WARNED, do not rent games from this company they are unprofessional and seriously lack communication skills!

Whybuygames is a total rip off. The service in the beginning was ok, then all the trouble started.Firstly they would send games you did not request,then they would send you a game you have already rented from them, then games become few and far in between, and when you do get the game you wanted ,it will be badly scratched and then mostly likely be sent back to you again.
Then if you try to phone them on the contact number you will only get n answering machine (please try 4 yourself 08081783701(tollfree))
Thus overall I would advise you to stay well clear......... and not make the same mistake as I did...

a retraction from my earlier review on april 2nd they have now refunded me my money after i highlighted their error

whatever you do not join them they are a scam. joined the free trail got a game week later, cancelled and posted back game with proof of purchase within their time frame, chraged my debit card twice for 33.99 even though the game is on the net for fiver. tried to email no response, phone them they dont have customer service phone is on answerphone all the time, phone over 100 times and leave messages no response. they will take your money and you can never get hold of them.do one thing if you dont do anything dont join them they should be shut down there just a cheating company.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The service is poor beyond belief. Games take weeks to arrive and when they eventually do, they're usually damaged. I am moving back to Lovefilm because they know how to run a professional service.

I started with whybuygames in 2008. Back then it was amazing - new games would dispatch fast and the selection would be great. Lately though new releases have not been coming in and requests are not listened to at all. It takes ages for a returned game to be recognized in their system, and it can take ages for them to dispatch anything.

I'm going to cancel after this month and move to the big service.

I have been a customer of theirs for 6 months. They have been great. Deliverys are frequent, choice of games is great. crackin site.

I've been with them for 3 months and in this time have recieved 4 games even though I have turned them around in under 3 days each !
My latest batch of returned games still have not "shown" as returned even though I posted them 2 weeks ago.
I have phoned them on numerous occasions and let 3 emails.
No reply to any.
The customer service phone goes straight to answerphone on the numerous time I have called them.
I'm going back to LoveFilm.
Oh, and 2 of the games had cracks in the center of the disc. Although still playable it's not what you expect from a rental comapny.

I moved to Why Buy Games from nimblethumbs and was amazed at the difference, I really feel that I have come to know the owners of the company. They are really freindly and helpful and do their best to supply you with the games you want. I would highly recommend them to all. Nikki
