Used to shop at the one in town, but this one is much better.
There are shelves upon shelves of food and massive freezers full of fish, seafood and frozen crispy ducks etc. The store is big, clean and well laid out, and well-lit.
The best thing of all, is that it is soooo cheap! My weekly shopping comes up cheaper than it used to, when I shopped in town. You can buy massive blacks of monster tiger prawns as a fraction of the cost that you would have to pay in tescos and catering size packs are available for most goods.
Bags are 5p, so bring your own, or use the free cardboard boxes.

Very expensive and they charged an extra 5p per bag. And when checking the receipt they charged for some items twice.

I quite like being able to buy the stuff online from this place because they have a lot more variety than the others, however, they don't ship any fresh or frozen products.

I went to Wai Yee Hong wholesalers on Sunday to buy some ingredients for a dinner party I was holding. It was great to find everything I needed in one place. Although it was very busy on Sunday, they had so much choice - fresh roast duck, Chinese cakes, buns, fresh noodles and loads of Chinese veggies.
I really liked the cooking equipment section at the back of the shop, where I got some nice chopsticks and serving plates.
