Bought this for a festival to replace my tiny tent. It was very easy to put up, didn't leak in the rain and survived the festival experience! The porch was a good size and very useful in the rainy weather. The only issue is that it claims to be a 4 berth and is definitely not-there were only two of us and an air bed and that was fine, but any more would probably be a bit of a squeeze!

used the Gelert Tornado 4 at glastonbury 2008 and although a sunny tournament it chucked it down on the thursday night and tent held up well with not a drop of rain getting in. Very spacious and comfy with excellent sunning area at the front.

Used this tent for over a year now at several motorcycle rallies, cant fault it for 2 people with all their bike and camping gear.
If you are expecting heavy rain then always treat your tent when you buy it with some sort of secondary spray waterproofing.
I'd buy this tent again no problem.
Also own another gelert 2 man tent (mongoose I think its called), but is more like a one man and all his gear tent.

This was our first tent after we got the bug and we still use it for odd nights roughing it or lending it to the kids. Easy to erect, it has a 1500mm rating, this was severely tested on our last night out on Dartmoor when it sluiced down all night and it did leak a little bit from the top seam and dripped onto our bags but this was very heavy, prolonged rain. Once again the 4 man rating should be taken as only having enough practical room for 2.
