I have had my Chicco Xplorer Pushchair for 4 months. I only use it on the very odd occasion and two wheels are now buckled. The harness to hold my baby in is now too short and he is only 8 months old! If it is fastened correctly the strap digs into the top of his leg and causes deep red marks. I only used the waist strap the last time I used it and he nearly leaned out. How it is supposed to last until toddler age I don't know? I would not recommend this pushchair.

Chicco Xplorer Pushchair is not substantial enough to carry a toddler the steering is very difficult.
The foot bar is not very strong, when a heavier baby is in it and has feet on foot bar it stops the pushchair from being manuvarable. I would not buy this again.

I had my pushchair for 4 weeks and the front wheel broke. After a while I did manage to get it mended, as it was a manufacturing fault, and they replaced the wheel for me. Two months later I thought the pushchair seemed 'wobbly'. On inspection, a integral rivet had broken and come out, which held the two main arms of the pushchair together. When I contacted Chicco, I told them the pushchair was used almost every day, to which they said 'it was 'excessive use' and they wouldn't mend the pushchair', so I had the pushchair for 11 weeks, and used it almost every day, which is 77 days, and this is excessive use for the life of the pushchair?! I really wouldn't buy from them again. The Chicco Xplorer is cheap because it's made cheaply! Other points: the raincover attaches with a Velcro strip, and my daughter used to kick the raincover, and 4 out of 6 ripped off. Also, my daughter is 18 months old, but when the hood was down she didn't like it, as it almost touched her head and she couldn't see anything.

The Chicco Xplorer pushchair is cheap for all the extras that you get i.e. reclining seat, shopping basket and sun shade. It is easy to push and it steers well, and my 8 month old loves it!

For it's price, the Chicco Xplorer Pushchair seemed a bargain, with many features that other strollers seemed to charge the earth for.
My child is happy in it, but unless you're vertically challenged and never intend on going up a step that has a 'lip', don't buy it.
