“Disgusting customer services, after sales”

After an excellent start it all went wrong. Dire non existent customer service department who literally could not care less once the money had been handed over. Numerous internal miscommunications between themselves. Ended up taking time off work to await non existent deliveries, not one call returned at all. We ordered a suite on 24th of August. The settee and one chair arrived, so we phoned to ask about the other chair.We spoke to two people on different phone calls who both promised to phone back but never did.Eventually after more phone calls from us, the chair came on the 13th of October without a cushion. Ordered Sofa & 2 chairs. Problem 1: Delivery schedule stated 8 weeks, after 9 had heard nothing so contacted them to find the order had not been finalised in their system so was not processed... Payment of course had been processed successfully. The process was then expedited & took a further 6 weeks. I originally ordered my Sofa at the Cannock branch. I changed the 4 seat to a 3 seat sofa via phone call to a member of the customer service team within the given timescale you could change your sofa size which i believe is 48 hours after the sale. IN August we purchased a sofa, chair and footstool from Sofology. When the items came the bottom of the chair was open the zip had broken and two of the chair feet were damaged. The delivery men said they would contact customer service and we would have a phone call that day we didn't. Sofas and footstools delivered on Monday, footstool broken, the delivery driver( who was excellent) held on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get through to the useless customer services, he had to the ring the same number as a customer to get through, eventually gave up as he had more deliveries. My two leather sofas which cost £2,000 are not fit for purpose after having them for just over two years all the leather is pealing off the bottom cushions, as we took out the insurance (which dont come cheep) we thought someone would come and fix it for us, but no,it only covers accidental damage. Aparently its fair wear and tear. “Review after delivery on everything ”

I wasn't told about an extra charge for Saturday delivery. In store they ask you how to rate their service saying they don't get commission but if you rate them 5 star they get a bonus. When delivered also told about a £250 bonus, delivery man talked the talk. I have loose threads on sofa which they said they'd report but didn't. It means I have to now report myself. I bought a beautiful sofa back in May of this year. It arrived quickly and by June I was enjoying my new sofa at home. Unfortunately on the delivery date I noticed one cushion has a blood like stain on one side, about the size of a bank note. Solihull Sears retail park used 11 weeks ago to buy sofa. Pushy sales guy rushed told that option for back cushion sofa fine and then later said can't do that. So had change sofa. Picked another sofa told that could get in my flat and was told sofa spilts in two pieces. As foundout it doesn't spilt and can't be delivered. Now I'm left with a bill. “Fabric rippling on seat and arm of sofa”

After 18 months fabric was rippling on one seat of sofa. First technician said the cause was due to my husbands bodily fluids, as male sweat is different to that of females. I complained about this excuse and was Subsequently told the fabric is not covered on warranty but As a goodwill gesture they would fit a new cover. “Shocking treatment ”

Do not purchase a suite from sofology Edinburgh. I was not informed how high maintenance my suite was. Complained as cushiond were sagging. Only had suite for 2 months.
