Paid around £2000 for 2 Grammar recliners one electric one manual,the electric is used daily and has been a problem from day one. Firstly in the centre the gap was way too big unlike tje manual one, 3 visits later its better but not right, we are now told all sofas are different and will have different size gaps? Really! Needed to replace back cushions on my old sofa I had purchased in this store a few years back. The sales assistant showed little to no interest in assisting me to get replacement. He seemed more interested in other customers so he could get a sale. He refused to reorder in the end. I then found another sales assistant Malvin who did what I had requested. “Nightmare ”

Took almost 4 months to deliver one simple sofa that took 5 minutes to assemble. Ordered in December, staff in this major East London branch completely incompetent. Insisted on organising site survey, only to have one arranged 2 months later. Had to personally call up and check timings, only to have the survey cancelled because they took 2 hours longer than expected to reach my house, and I couldn't take any more hours off work. “DFS Leather Armchair”

Customer service good which made buying easy. Delivery before expected date. Build and quality of material of armchair poor. Ordered superior leather but this only included on the sitting area of chair. Frame is made of softwood and chipboard and quite rough in finish (thought they used hardwood frames!). “Softy and slipping away cushions”

“Delivery men unhelpful”

Im fuming. I was crying coz delivery men wouldnt move my old sofas from living room 7 steps to outside my front door. Dfs sales staff said they would. Delivery men said Dfs are lying. “Newbury 3 seater”

Anyone had problems with this sofa comes in two halves which creaks when you sit on the part that joins the two seater bit. This is a manual recliner already had service manager X two to look at it also had some more webbing put on it and according to them it is okay. My daughter has just purchased a Newbury 3 seats and a 2 seats. The covering is mink & plain. She has only had them a week and a small area of the material has already gone shiny and the brown fleck in the material has disappeared. Somebody from DFS called today to look at it but didn't agree that there was anything wrong. Has anybody else had a problem with the material?

I had a black leather 3 seater after 4 repairs I insisted on an exchange up until this pint dfs had been ok tbh .. “sagging arms / sofa padding on 2 cushions need redone”

had the sofa since 2011 , does not get heavy use , its the cantanello range , I had extra padding put into the arms on the outset as the padding is a hollow fibre which needs plumping up constantly as it flattens out as soon as you rest on it , the leather itself has remained in good condition due to the constant nourishment treatment I do every week , also on delivery the guys tried to jam the sofa through the door after I specifically asked them to remove one of the arms to get in with ease… Read Full Review

Can you tell me which sofa this is. Ive had mine a week and huge saggy seat where husband sits and hes only slim and works full time. Only used a tiny bit this week and its a mess so wondering how bad it will be in a few months.

“Don't be fooled into buying after care service”

We purchased 2 leather sofas and a fabric snuggle chair. Firstly the leather sofas, only 18 months old have areas of stitching that is coming apart but when we phoned dfs about this we were told that it is a common fault in leather sofas, we owned a leather sofa prior to this one and did not have this problem. “Hidden Costs with a £3k Bachelor Sofa”

We praised Dfs for their Sales Service and delivery service. YES, agree - absolutely ridiculous you spend £3k on sofas - then you have to spent £60 to just be able to move them, their mistake for not telling you so as a gesture of goodwill, they should be giving you them for at least 50% if not free! Avoid the Dundee story - far too many poor reports of their aftercare service - experience has proved, not interested....go to Harveys!

“Furniture Protection”

After being sold very expensive insurance that at the time was told would clean, repair, replace if need be, what a load of rubbish, DO NOT BUY!!! What happens is they send you a tin of stuff to clean your own sofa, it does not matter if the stain comes out and the sofa as a blotch!! All they require to do is to get rid of that stain ( or you to get rid) DFS very unhelpful ( why should they be any different, they have your money ) Buyer beware. Battling it out with castalen who provide warranty been waiting six months for repair no parts ordered for repair so if I still want my sofa repaired have to wait 12 to 14 weeks for new leather to arrive to be replaced
