I purchased a sofa from DFS Droitwich and selected the buy now pay in 12 months. A DFS staff member processed my finance agreement incorrectly and a month later an unexpected payment was taken from my account. I initially called the finance company to see if they could amend from their side, but they confirmed that the finance agreement was created by DFS so it was down to them to make the relevant changes/updates. “Simply rubbish!”

Beautiful sofa to look at but be warned ......after only 7 months the seat cushions which we paid extra for the superior quality basically flattened. Called the customer care dept we were refused a refund and after a long battle, we managed to get the seat cushions changed. But only 2 of the 4! The cushions have since done the same and they refuse to change them again. These are the most uncomfortable sofas I've ever owned. After receiving our sofas which we informed the customer services on the same day that we were not happy with them it took us many calls and many lies by DFS that they wouldn't help us even when one of there own service engineers totally agreeing with our issues. Simple 2 seater reclining settee ordered 8th Jan 2022 for my 86 year old mom.. was advised delivery was first week in April. Close to delivery date was emailed and told delivery date was now 15th April.. Bought a double bed, the tilly double bed. Absolutely disgraceful, arrived feeling very cheap, very light, broken draws , broken feet, a headboard that doesn't feel very secure at all. Ordered a sofa from DFS, all fine until after signing the dotted line and leaving DFS. We had a do not deliver date attached to the sofa and after requesting this be removed three times it remained in place until we had to physically go in store to have it removed. We were told several times the sofa was ready for delivery, actually booked a date and time for delivery only for DFS to not turn up and inform us the sofa hadn’t been made yet. paid full in sept 2022, problem with delivery, problem with cushion, supposed to be reversible. spoke to comsumer rights, sent an email to dfs they just laugh at me, I still do not have the covers I paid for apparently they where sent to me on 5/3 by 2nd class royal mail and I have to wait 10 days to request a refund, royal mail have assured me that if they posted even by 2nd class on 5/3 I would have them by now, I emailed DFS complaints on the 5/3 and am still awaiting a reply, once they get… Read Full Review

This is the last time DFS will every get custom from me again. After waiting patiently for almost 12 weeks for an update on the order of a two seater sofa, delivery was finally confirmed. A whole afternoon was put aside and we waited and waited. I was given a time slot between the hours of 15.00 and 18.00. Ordered 28/08/21 delivered 04/12/21 which isnt too bad.. BUT delivered the wrong one. Someone at suppliers doesnt know their left from their right. Ordered left hand chaise and received right hand chaise. No resonse from emails and web chat and calls to the number are near on impossible to get through on. We ordered 2 expensive leather sofas from DFS on 6th August 2021 with a 16 week delivery wait. We have heard nothing from our local store and then had a generic email a few days ago, presumably from their head office, stating that delivery could be now in the New Year; the date when the sofas should arrive at the depot when we checked the tracking on line keeps repeatedly being put back. ordered a suite paid 300 deposit, told 8 weeks well 13 weeks later email asking for the final payment paid it same day and another 3 weeks delivery time, when delivered all the items were damaged badly i rand straight away and asked for a refund and collection as soon as possible,, they stated dfs have a right of repair, UNDER LAW THEY DO NOT ON DAMAGED ON DELIVERY ITEMS after some 40 plus phone calls waiting up to 50 mins each time for a human going through the whole story again and again… Read Full Review
