Chat Avenue Video games chat is a heaven for peados and the admin and mods know it. At this point its a joke, mods becoming emotionally involved with other chatters on, meeting up, trolling, doxxing etc the list goes on. I would say to anyone DO NOT come here, or but VIP. You'll be account banned and be expected to pay for another VIP account, also be careful while logged on here as users/mods IP kick you offline for 10-30 minutes at a time for no reason.

I know chat sites aren't exactly everyones cup of tea but i love this place. Met so many cool and friendly people here. I use the General chat and the adult chat rooms. Its free so you can't complain. Plenty of users so you never get bored.

Ok so before I write this I want to clarify that if you are at least mature enough and not easily manipulative to continue if you do however enjoy this site. Those who are my age underage 17, 16, or younger please listen and to the parents of children who are looking for a site for their child to make friends. This site is very fun and can be quite addictive once you get the hang of it, however, my concerns are that many people fake their ages to be as if they are teenagers or even kid's ages when they are middle-aged and start chatting with children and teens on the teenage server. I'm speaking from my own experiences, but I want to make sure nobody else goes through the horror or this site. Also, people are extremely sexual here and it's not like any friendly activities or conversations really. Yes, not every chatroom is perfectly perfect and sure as hell is not going to be the age group expected, I am just asking to maybe improve and consider the safety concerns of younger groups on these types of sites. Chat-Avenue has become a complete joke. Because the moderators on the Adult chat room do not let people have political discussions on it. Which has decreased the amount of intellectual discussions that can be had on the Adult chat room. There are evil sickos on the Adult chat room who prey on females by trying to make females become brainless toys. All of the chat rooms have censorship rules that bleep a different amount of words per chat room, so you can't really have a normal conversation with someone on Chat-Avenue because the censorship rules on Chat-Avenue lack common sense. It makes me come to the conclusion that Chat-Avenue is not controlled by people who have decent intelligence and that Chat-Avenue is not a platform for intellectual discussions because of the anti-intellectual censorship rules. Moderators from certain chat rooms do not let you be able to have your Mood be "Suicidal" on your profile information page on your account on Chat-Avenue because they don't allow honesty if it doesn't benefit their anti-intellectual censorship rules that make people look fake. Some of the chat rooms on Chat-Avenue have anti-privacy protocols that won't let you use some of them if you're using a V.P.N. Which tells me that there are people from Chat-Avenue who don't want to politely mind their own business by letting me use a V.P.N. to keep my online personal life hidden from nosy people.

Mods can apparently just call you out in the main chat instead of discussing the issue privately or just giving a strike/warning which I find a little weird and unprofessional.

This website is run by moderators and administrators who are on their high horses because they anti-intellectually don't allow people to talk about politics and religion on the chat rooms on Chat Avenue. Which makes Chat Avenue not a good place for intellectual conversations because Chat Avenue is only good for immature perverts who can't handle serious topics. Unfortunately, some of the moderators on Chat Avenue are creeps even though the administrators of Chat Avenue don't care about that despite their arrogant claims about how safe Chat Avenue is. Moderators on Chat Avenue also have an arrogant behavior towards certain cuss words.

This site is full of trolls thst really work for the staff. They are a busing and trying to make people share their photos accusing them not being real. They then sell your photos. They have other game members to pm message trying to gain your trust. I fell into that. I should have known better. I was completely broken after finding out through chat room confesation they shared my photos. The staff as I call them where making horriable remarks as a conversation. I will bring tp light all the sames and characters

There are some nice people but then there are the trolls, who are vile and horrible, why are these people allowed on there, I only come on for a chat, it needs to be better managed, otherwise it'll put people off coming on here, it's easy to navigate and find the rooms, adult chat goes a bit weird sometimes

Since this is a FREE chatline, with really no vetting process at all, don't be alarmed if the crazies come out of the woodwork. Like the rest of the world; you offer something for free and you'll be amazed at who/what comes a-callin'. I've been on the site for close to 5 years and have found some pretty interesting people. However, the "moms" that are on here are not moms; the pictures you see in the profile are generally not them (SELFIES ARE NEVER legit); and people from around the world tend to have diferent ways of communicating. My biggest concern is that in a chatroom; as in real life, TALKING is key. You can't carry on a conversation with textspeak. (e.g. "Hi, how are you doing?" is good. "hru" is not.) The other issue are the people that come on with obvious monikers and refuse to really talk about that (e.g. "Depressed Girl") If you ask, you will be ignored or will have "ya" as an answer and then the topic gets into "wanna chat step?" I hate Chat Step. There's NO reason users should be subjected to a bait and switch with others. The only reason you get asked that; especially within the first 3 lines of chat, is so some horny guy or vindictive girl can use your pics to their own perverse reasons. All in all, as far as exploring your world, connecting with those that share interests or desires, Chat Ave is really good. But I'd much prefer to have a "report" button or option so those that have inappropriate names, topics of discussion, misspelled and obnoxious chats in the main room or Privately, and so forth can be dealt with. I am a 17-year-old girl who likes to keep up with modern social media. One day one of my friends told me about a website she used called chatavenue.com. I decided to try it out one day. As soon as I got onto the site I got messages from a bunch of guys, which I deleted except for one. This guy said that he was one of my classmates that I had been crushing on for a year and said that he wanted to chat. He sent me a video request and I, being stupid, said "yes." I will not get into detail over what I saw. It was something terrible--I saw a naked guy on the screen. He said that he wanted to see my butt and my bra or he was going to post some pictures of me online and edit them until they looked like I was naked. I automatically logged out and started crying. I won't deny that I am slightly naive but no one needs to be threatened like that or see someone naked. Great job, Chat Avenue. I hate you so much.

I've been coming in this chat room for a few months. Just recently, I happened to luck out & meet a really sweet guy in Singles chat. Well, one of my ex's (who is also in singles chat) got jealous and is now making up stories about my beau. Even worse, he's gotten one of the other chatters to help him. He's been doing all this in the hopes i will break up with my boyfriend & go back to him. I can understand wanting to get someone back after having broken up. But to use cruel stories to do so?? No. I can tell you both of their id names in the Singles chat:  It's gotten to the point where i don't even want to go back to that site. I only go in there now to chat with a couple of friends i happen to have in there. I mean, that's harassment in my book. And another killing part is the so-called mods don't stop them. They should be banned from Singles chat. Because all they do is tell stories and harass.

I visited the General Chat Room and observed several people were discussing male genitalia. In response to the conversation topic, I asked: "Why are people talking about penis?" The moderator -- SallyStitches -- muted me for asking the question, but allowed others in the room to continue with the graphic conversation. I also observed people using excessive profanity, such as the "f" word. Once I was un-muted by SallyStitches, I asked her in a private window why she muted me. She did not respond to my question, and closed out the private window. People continued to use profane language all the while. I then asked in the open chat, "Why is it acceptable to say the 'f' word but not 'penis'"? At that time, SallyStitches banned me from the chat room. It is evident there is no consistency with Chat Avenue's moderators -- they are biased. Moreover, they ban people for pointing out the absurdity of conversation topics held within the chat rooms, but do not address the people having such conversation. Do Chat Avenue mods think that people who ask reasonable questions pose an affront to their perceived power? Not good Chat Avenue. Not good.

I have been on chat avenue several times and. I'm sorry to say but there are sick and twisted minded people. Who are just plain pervs and I think it needs to be better monitord I have decided to never use it ever again Anymore So many nasty people and to many messages.

I don't go into chat to talk dirty. I get that some people do out of desperation. However, to allow people in there to go in and brag about incest and r a p e, and children is beyond anything I can imagine as acceptable behavior. This room needs to be able to set up blocks on people that use such words and then review and block their IP address so they cannot come back. Also when someone is blocked, by one user they should be blocked forever, not just that visit. Some people harass and torment and almost stalk others. I've had to change my name on more than one occasion because people will harass me when they see me. I have decided not to go back. It's not worth it.
