Surely one of the best curry houses in West Yorkshire. Very modern and chic inside. Service was very polite, friendly and professional. Quality of food was superb everything was extremely fresh and clearly cooked to order. Varied menu. Good portion sizes. Every dish was absolutely delicious and I'm pretty sure it's the best I've ever had. Normal curry house prices (starters £2.50 - £4.50 and mains £5.50 - £8.00) so given the quality and the taste it is extremely good value. Would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I have just had an absolutely devine evening at Saffron restaurant. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned, great value for money! The service was friendly and the general atmosphere was warm and charming. We had a great evening and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

I live just around the corner and used to come here all the time - I still have the 'loyalty card' for them.
We've stopped going for a number of reasons but the main one is hygeine.
On the last 2 occasions we ate their the following happened:
I found a black hair inside my samosa - we pointed this out but they didn't want to know.
I then went to the gents and looked on the wall by the urinal to find approx 50+ dry bogies that had been wiped on the wall over a length of time that had never been cleaned up - I pointed this out to the owner and made him come in with me so he could see for himself. He was adamant that the toilet was regualrly cleaned but had no answer or interest in the fact I felt this was horrible.
The last time we went, this time my other half found a black hair in her food - again we complained and the waiter picked it out with his fingers and held it against my hair!!! (mine is mouse brown by the way) he then tried to accuse me of putting it in to get a free meal - I pointed out that we go all the time but he didn't care.
We complained (again) to the manager who still made us pay for everything (despite us stopping eating after the waiter stuck his fingers in the food) but said my partner could have a free meal next time we went in - Unsurprisingly we haven't been back. On the plus side the bogies had mostly gone from the toilet wall.
Personally I would go to the other Saffron which has recently opended in Guiseley - Food is pretty good but the hygeine is a million times better

Value for money was extraordinary. We had the buffet meal for £8.95 a head - poppadums and chutneys, selection of starters, rice, MASSIVE naan breads, as much as you could eat of about a dozen different curries, choice of dessert and I think we could have had coffee too had we wanted (not 100% sure). I reckon they would even give you a free lift home if you wanted it!!

I would agree with previous comments - eat in the restaurant and everything is great. But, if you get a takeaway you will often have to wait quite a while - even if you phone your order through first.

Since the restaurant has been refurbed, it has become more classy but still has its usual charm. The owner and waiters are really nice and friendly. The food is cooked to a high standard, and portions are always just right. A great place, with great food and impressive service.

My partner and I have ordered a takeaway from the Saffron Indian Restaurant in Guiseley, Leeds 3 times recently. The first time the food was excellent. The second time my partner had to wait over half an hour for the food to be cooked, and when he got it home half the order was missing. He took it back, and the staff were very unhelpful, and they offered no form of compensation. When he returned with the rest of the order, the food was lukewarm. We decided to try this restaurant for a takeaway just one more time, but the next time, again we were unimpressed with the customer service. And although the order was right this time, my partner had a long wait for the food, and it was still lukewarm. We will not be eating there again.
