I received a 3 pack of these one Christmas , and like most golfers my initial thought was cheap and probably never use them.
Well I did and was pleasantly surprised, in fact so pleasantly surprised I went and bought 2 dozen.
They go as far as any ball I have hit and stop fine on the green for my
requirements.
This is an excellent ball for the mid to high handicapper or someone who plays now and again.
There would not be enough feel or reaction for the really low handicapper.
I have been playing golf for over 30 years getting down to 7 handicap and like most golfers have tried
numerous balls and clubs of various manufacturers.
There is no doubting technology has come a long way , but using a Prov1 is
not going to transform a 20 handicapper into a single figure golfer.
A scratch golfer would probably play to scratch using a satsuma.
The name on the ball is not going to make you a better golfer, but I do believe that certain golf bals react differently with different makes of clubs and putters.
The Slazenger seems to suit my clubs and putter it may not suit yours, but give it a go , you have nothing to lose.

A good mid-priced ball for a decent mid-range handicapper. Not really cheap, but not so expensive as to break your heart if you slice one into the water!!
Tend to use these a lot as they seem to feel good when chipping & putting, but then that's a very individual thing.
