Neff H5430 Microwave

I have had several microwaves in the past, but the last one was a Neff microwave which was very poor, first the microwave thingy broke, and now the door spring has come off, and I am very reluctant to get Neff in again. As this would be the seven time I have had them out for my fridge freezer, dual oven, dishwasher and microwave. I don't about Neff, perhaps they should change their name to Naff!

This Neff microwave was fitted into the kitchen when I bought the house. Within 2 years it failed and was repaired under guarantee. Three years later it failed again and was completely replaced. It has now failed again 3 years later. At around £300 to replace it is over-priced and, in my opinion, fundamentally dreadfully made.

Door latch has broke and can only be fixed by replacing the door which is very expensive. No Neff engineers interested locally. Very poor service for an expensive item.

The hinge on the door has broken therefore causing the microwave not to work I am very disapointed as It was expensive and as my kitchen unit was purpose built to house it I am having difficulty finding a replacement of a differant make

Owned the machine for around 3 years. Worked fine until door latch broke -- mechanism is cheap. Machine now useless.

I chose this microwave to match my oven, the door mechanism has broken and the microwave does not work. I am so disappointed that the door mechanism is based an a flimsy, weak peice of plastic holding a very tense spring. As the Neff support was so poor we have resorted to super glue and a piece of metal, i refuse to buy a new door for a desin fault!!

This microwave is the worst I have ever had. It is not used frequently but the door broke after a couple of years and Neff fixed it for £80. It has now died completely after tripping the electrics and a nasty smell of burning. Neff? No thanks

Dreadful. Broke down twice in 2 months. Customer care apalling. Would never buy Neff appliance again. Paid a lot of money for what I thought was a reliable produce and have been let down all the way. Guarantee not worth the paper it is written on. The only thing positive is that it looks good, so if you want appliances to look at and not use, then this is the one for you. Bitterly regret bothering with NAFF Neff.

The Neff H5430 Microwave looks good - integral fitting within the kitchen unit but has broke down now 3 times since new within 3 years.

Each time major surgery ie Magnetron and Module relay

Now out of warranty and useless

During normal use, the door closing mechanism on my Neff H5430 has broken meaning the microwave cannot operate at all. Obviously not built to last. Am surprised that a basic feature that is essential to operate the device is not built to last.
