Woodyhyde Courtyard Holiday Cottage

We recently spent a week at Woodyhyde Courtyard. !2 of us in total, everything was brilliant. With so many people we ate in each evening, you could not fault the kitchen and the equipment, 4 fridges, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, everything you could possibly need. House was spotless, pool excellent, big enough to really swim in!! Location fantastic and we were lucky, the weather was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and so much space we didn't get under each other's feet at all. Would give it 10 out of 10!!

Stayed end of April early May 2013

Lovely Weekend

My family and I recently stayed for a long weekend at Woodyhyde Courtyard in Corfe which was a brilliant place to stay with our 5 small grandchildren. The indoor pool was absolutely ideal for them all. The only disappointing thing was that none of us slept very well due to the very uncomfortable noisy beds/mattresses. We enjoyed our stay in Dorset very much and will return most definately.

There Seemed To Be No Policing Of This Corfe Castl

There seemed to be no policing of this Corfe Castle site what so ever

turn up and pitch ( no set pitches)

Noise till 3 - 4 am in the morning loud music and noise,

masses of children running riot and screaming, dogs

seemed to out of control (supposed to be on lead) and

out numbered adults some guy turned up with a seaddo

>and promply put on a generator of all things to boil a kettle!!

it was the noisest generator i had ever heard, more fitting for a fairground, no thought for anybody elsies bit of peace and quiet

after putting up with that we decided to leave, enough was enough. this an ideally based site for seeing this part of the country

We Absolutely Love This Campsite!! We Have Just Be

We absolutely love this campsite!! We have just been for a nice long weekend and had the best time - so good in fact were back again for the next bank holiday!! The area is brilliant, and the walks from the campsite through Corfe common into Corfe Castle are beautiful. The great thing about the campsite is the nature, the views, and the fact that you are left to your own devices - there isn't a 'warden' checking up on what you are doing like some campsites, you really feel at home. The only one thing I would say is that there are no recycling facilities, and I feel there should be, but apart from that 10/10!!!!!

Woodhyde Is A Wonderful Campsite In The Village Of

Woodhyde is a wonderful campsite in the village of Corfe Castle with three separate fields, one of which has a characteristic steam train line through it. Don't worry, they only come through in the middle of the day and even then not overly often. The shop sells everything from the standard gas canisters and food to walking sticks and hiking knifes. The owners are friendly and always available to help. Always able to get a good nights sleep there but if you want to make a bit more noise you can request to go in the end field, which is more out of the way and there is no-one to disturb.

I have stayed here twice now for a total of two weeks, my girlfriend and her family have been going there for 16 years and it is fantastic. I strongly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Cracking little campsite.

Briliant little store with everything you can possibly require for camping should you forget anything.

The steam train is the icing on the cake for some truly English style camping.

Highly rated.
