WOW @ some of the stuff on here , whenever I've been there over the years it's mostly been fine ! As far as the helmet & clothes department goes I had a great experience last week , the very helpful guy there helped me get a small plastic vent for my AGV helmet in a few days , no problem… Read Full Review

“DON'T BUY A MOTORCYCLE THERE”

Written on: 14/11/2016 by bartekg (1 review written)

THINKING ABOUT A BIKE FROM HONDA CHISWICK? BETTER READ THIS FIRST. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Worst motorcycle dealer I came across so far.Honestly, I am the last to complain and this is my first negative review I ever wrote. The sale fell through due to their negligence and instead of apologizing they prefered to lose their face and take a staggering sum of £100 of me. I mean how cheap you have to be to do that? I went there the other day to part exchange my motorbike. Firstly they took it for MOT… Read Full Review

“MOTORCYCLE PARTS”

Written on: 18/07/2016 by 126MacGregor (1 review written)

CALLED UP FOR FOUR iridium SPARK PLUGS FOR A MOTORBIKE. Wanted £95.00!!!! Elsewhere you can get on line for £48 (They are expensive plugs and needed them today, cant wait for delivery). Went to HGB in Ruislip, Honda Dealer, same plugs, Honda packaging £70.00, £25 cheaper!!. Chiswicks reply,"well there good plugs and last 30000 miles!. Same thing, Chiswick, nice coffee shop, but appalling elsewhere, no wonder your feedback is so poor and customer service unbelievably low. Honda UK should be… Read Full Review

“Clueless could be selling baked beans”

Written on: 05/06/2015 by thetrevone (2 reviews written)

I asked a couple of simple questions prior to a potential purchase one via email and one via online chat both times the responses would take some beating. 1/ Will a full size spare wheel fit in the boot space of an advertised car on their forecourt: response from the parts department: What is the VIN number of the vehicle? 2/ Are the roof rails on this vehicle OEM as they look different to normal? I can't see any roof bars in the Honda catalogue that match and I want to carry some… Read Full Review

“Waste Of Energy!”

Written on: 26/05/2015 by RashadGallagher (1 review written)

So I bought a brand new NC750x found the process ok. Nothing spectacular. But since riding this bike for a year and looking at the Crossrunner VFR800x I thought oooh that looks nice. Twice I have now made contact to show my interest (actually wanting to buy another bike) yet the guy who took my details (can't remember his name) in sales didn't call me back to tell me when they were getting another one. So have since then sent another test ride request via the website with nothing coming… Read Full Review

“Dishonest dealer”

Written on: 28/04/2015 by DavidKennedy365 (1 review written)

where do i start ? -everyone that takes their car to Honda chiswick will be told that their brake pad is 80% worn. -they claim that their used cars are fit to go and all checks have been done ..... loads of rubbish. Thier used cars are PIN protected and customer are not told about it, once you change the battery the radio/sat nav become useless as they will not give you the pin and will charge you loads of money to get it fixed. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HONDA CHISWICK!!! -The service guy… Read Full Review

“Once they have your money...forget any help!”

Written on: 19/02/2014

I bought what I thought was a "honda used approved car" from Chiswick Honda last May (2013). It is now February 2014 and I am still trying to get the car fixed. This garage sold me a car with the engine management light blanked out, a dodgey clutch, the internals of the gearbox were knackered as well as the flywheel! I paid £7,500 and I have been totally ripped off. After only owning the car for 6 weeks I thought it wasn't performing as it should be When I asked for assistance from the… Read Full Review

“Servicing Issues”

Written on: 13/11/2011 by ispyarippoff (1 review written)

I used these guys for a mini service and MOT the year previously with not issues. So a year later I brought my mechanically working 1996 Fireblade in for a service, not that it needed it, I just thought it could do with a freshen up service so plumped for there 3 tier service which was the best and also mentioned that if anything needed doing to just do it as I didn't want any downtime. I was given a Honda Hornet as loan bike. Errrgghgh. Horrible. A week later I had to call to find out… Read Full Review

Written on: 05/04/2011

worse than terrible. Dont use this for loans. I took out a personal loan in 2009. they had actually forgotten to pass the signed agreement onto blackhorse and by the time they realised the agreement was out of date. They called me in to sign a new one saying everything was the same as before but did a great job of hiding the fact that they were giving me a hire purchase loan instead! the problem was i had sold the bike prior to this. the case is ongoing. Wouldnt trust them. they even tried to… Read Full Review

Chiswick Honda, yes they are a bit more expensive than other places but i have found them polite, friendly and pretty effeciant. I do a fair amount of mileage and when i did a big europe trip they serviced the bike just before i left and put new tyres on it and then when i returned 4800 miles but only 3 weeks later they did another service and another set of tyres but gave me a very good discount as they where so close together. I also find there customer service excellent. I encourage you to… Read Full Review

“Have had my bike serviced here since they opened....”

Written on: 07/01/2010

Have had my bike serviced here since they opened. Never been cheap but, as busy and working, I just accepted it. However, after change of staff c 3-4 years ago, the `service' went downhill rapidly. Front desk staff appear very pleasant and professional but if something goes wrong (eg when their fault), suddenly everyone (albeit often still quite politely!) passes you from one department to another and no-one ever (EVER) calls back or gets the issue sorted. I met the Manager there once and he… Read Full Review

Written on: 12/05/2008 by nickwashere (1 review written)

I'm not going to go on here but.... everytime I take my bike to Honda Chiswick for a service, it comes back with a problem. This has happened more times that I care to mention. I have spoken to other people who have used them in the past and their stories are only too familiar... they no longer go there.
Only reason I have kept going back is because of their loan bikes - In the long run, this has been a false economy given that I have to keep going back to fix stuff that haven't been done… Read Full Review

Written on: 12/01/2008

Upon entering the dealership I was welcomed by a nice friendly receptionest who introduced me to a member of sales.
after talking to the salesman I decided on the new hornet. I was walked through the whole process with a very polite and proffessional attitude,
The only problem with the whole deal was I was kept waiting by a staff member who had to "ok" the collection and after 25 mins waiting for him he tried to sell me extended warrentees like I was buying a TV!
If it hadn't been for the… Read Full Review

I get my bike serviced at Chiswick, haven't bought a bike there. But boy do I sympathise with you on the warranty selling. I've had the same experience buying bikes and cars elsewhere, and they give you so much BS like "we're obliged to do it by the FSA". Extended warranty (even though the bike/car is still under manufacturer warranty); tyre insurance; write-off value loss insurance etc. Not only do they keep you waiting, these guys won't take no for an answer. Several times this has turned a pleasant experience into a very unpleasant one. Why don't these dealers learn?

I have 3 motorbikes and a car that I take to Chiswick Honda, they always give me good service and are very flexible when collection or dropping off the FREE loan bike. In reality they are no more expensive than any other dealer who gives a similiar service. I will buy more Honda and take them back to Chiswick… Read Full Review

Written on: 08/09/2007 by Monkey san (1 review written)

I took my Honda Trasalp to the 'award winning' Chiswick Honda for a full service, new tires and a new indicator cover. I informed the service desk that I would need a loan bike at the time of my booking and also explained that I was taking my bike on a trip across Europe in a few weeks.

When I dropped my bike off they hadn't got a loan bike for me, having failed to book one for me, and I needed to take a scooter instead, which was irritating but OK.

Several days later I was able to pick up… Read Full Review

Written on: 18/08/2007 by rj173 (1 review written)

I also had a bad experience at Honda Chiswick. I tried to buy a scooter there at one point & wanted to organize a loan through them for the bike. I'd only been in the country 2 years at the time & asked if I would have difficulty obtaining a loan because of this. They assured me it would be absolutely no problem & pushed ahead with the sale. They took a deposit from me, & called me down to the centre 3 separate times to sign paper work. They then tried to convince me to insure the bike before… Read Full Review

“Nasty Experience, stay away! I have bought my Honda...”

Written on: 04/07/2006 by LMAZZONI (1 review written)

Nasty Experience, stay away! I have bought my Honda FES 125 "Pantheon" from Chiswick Honda, London W4 in December 2005 and all the relevant maintenance services have been performed by them. On the 15/05/2006 I have taken the bike for the 5000mls scheduled service and to my surprise I have notice a big discrepancy in labor costs charged from my previous service (2500mls) and this one. The amount of items inspected were in fact less than the previous service but the amount charged for labor was… Read Full Review

Herbie963's Response to LMAZZONI's Review

Written on: 04/07/2006

I too have just had the 5000 mile service on my pantheon and wasn't that impressed, Hunts of Manchester charged me £114 for this when the 2500 was £48. I let them off because they found a dodgy rear bearing and a fault on the belt drive which has been replaced under warranty, just makes me worried about the next one. How much was your 5000 mile service?

Lmazzoni's Response to LMAZZONI's Review

Written on: 15/11/2006

Hi Herbie,

My 5000 mls service was £139,88 at Chiswick Honda, and that was my last. This thing about the 2 years guarantee is a catch, as you must have all the services done by a Honda dealer, and now I do not do the services any more. I change the oil, filter and spark plug myself, and if I find anything wrong, I take it to a dealer to deal with it, and this works out a lot cheaper, as the chances of anything going wrong are very rare.

The Pantheon is a very good scooter indeed.

Good luck.

Herbie963's Response to LMAZZONI's Review

Written on: 14/11/2006

Hello again LMAZZONI. I just thought I'd let you know that I've just done the 7500 up here in Manchester. This time a whopping £153, although this did include a new rear tyre and some front pads. I'm still looking at a total of £315 to get me this far, which really compares badly with the servicing costs for a car (once a year, 12k miles say). I'm just glad the fuel mileage is so good (about 85mpg) to offset the ridiculous servicing costs.

Lmazzoni's Response to LMAZZONI's Review

Written on: 05/07/2006

Hi Herbie, The break down was:
Labor.........£99.90
Parts.........£ 8.20
Sundries.... £10.95
VAT.......... £20.83
TOTAL..... £139.88
Went to another dealer and they mentioned that with £120 they would have done all the 5000 service plus the eventual change of break pads....
They also said that I was charged by the high mileage of the bike...
Very sad isn't it???
