“Cheap and simple”

I only need cheap insurance for my £500 Honda. This is the cheapest insurance company (via "ASDA Online Exclusive"). I won't even claim if it gets nicked. All the people who take out the cheapest insurance on the market for their expensive cars and then expect top service need a wake up call!! Insurance companies like these in my opinion merely exist to stop you getting pulled over.

I have recently had a accident and started a claim with my insurer Southern Rock only to find out I irresponsibly and unknowingly let my M.O.T run out by a month and have learnt that they will not pay the claim because of this, is there anything anyone knows of what my options could be or do I just have to suck it up?
