I Arranged For A Rep To Come And Look At A Sofa Re
I arranged for a rep to come and look at a sofa repair job.
Once he had completed his inspection of the sofa he said
"Did the office tell you about the call-out charge?"
No they didn't, but paying it did not me receiving a quote.
I am still chasing a refund. They claim to have left messages but this is not the case.
Please do not waste your time and money with these people. Check AMUSF

Awful customer service and a joke of a company.
Tried to get a technician out for four months for him to fail to turn up twice. Various people gave me excuses, vans breaking down, traffic etc. Pathetic. They never answer their phone either.
Never even rang me to tell me the technician couldn't come despite me taking a day off work. I had to ring them to chase them several times in one day only to be met with excuse after excuse. Joke.

Talk About Double Standards
Poor customer service and an average product. It took this company almost five months to deal with my claim that the glass table top was defective. They said I had no claim because it took me too long (9 days) to point out the defect.Double standards or what.

Do Not Touch With A Barge Pole...
I spent nearly £1,000.00 on a Charles Eames chair & stool just under six months ago. Unfortunately, the base to the chair was faulty (the pin connecting the base to the chair fell through rendering the chair unstable & unusable) I contacted Express-Furniture re the same – They said that the base would be sent back to the manufacturer for either a repair or a replacement however, the base was sent back to me (4 weeks later) with the exact same problem. It has transpired that my base only went as far as their office. Despite repeated emails – Furniture-Express are not willing to replace by base, collect the damaged base or even respond to my emails... DO NOT buy from them!

Excellent service from a company that presents a human face to its customers, with personal phone contacts and speedy responses to emails, to sort out any particular needs or delivery requirements. Added to which the furniture I ordered was a delight to see when I unpacked it, and it came at a price even I could afford ! Very satisfied. Express Furniture works with its customers to make sure everything goes right, and will work hard to sort out any problems.

I ordered two rattan garden furniture sets on a Saturday and they were in place the following Thursday.
Excellent service from administration of the order to delivery, which was a day earlier than originally expected! Packing of the items was well thought out and all the items arrived in perfect condition.
Will definitely use the company again.

I Reported This Firm To Trading Standards. I Order
I reported this firm to trading standards. I ordered a chair from them last year which never arrived. I felt I received terrible service, really can't think of anything bad enough to say about them. If you are tempted to order from them I would advise using a credit card as that is how I got my money back, I got it from the credit card company when it became obvious that express furniture was not going to refund.

I bought a chair and a stool last December. Still I have not received the stool. The shipping company and the furniture company are both blaming the shipping company for any problems. I've called, I've begged, I've e-mailed and they only ever said, "We're checking on it," -- for MONTHS. Now she hangs up on me when I call to check on my order.
