I've Tried This Product And My Only Complaint At T

I've tried this product and my only complaint at this time is when it heats up, it smells like mildew. I applied the product, then blow-dryed my hair. It was still a big ball of fuzz, however, once I started using the straight iron on it, it became poker straight. ...but the oder is terrible.

Like being inside a mildewy cardboard box. They need to fix that.

I've Bought Toni And Guy's No Kinks Smoothing Balm

I've bought Toni and Guy's No Kinks Smoothing Balm in it's miniature form when I was looking in the local Boots store for a hair product which actually did all those wonderful things they claimed. Slightly skeptical, I bought the smaller size for £1.59, knowing that if I didn't like it there was no major loss. The standard size is £6.99 (I think, or somewhere around that).

The packaging is unique and is in a foil-type, screw-capped bottle. It's strong and can be stored flat or upright, making it non-bulky in your bathroom cupboards. The standard size package is white with red and black lettering, whereas the miniature is silver.

I applied the product to towel-dried hair, and although initially put off by the smell, I continued styling and was pleasantly surprised. Blow-drying was easier and gave straighter results which meant less straightening and less heat damage :)

After straightening my hair and sleeping on it, there wasn't much hair out of place, whereas usually attempts at straightening were ruined by sleep.

I'm used to issues concering humidity and kinky hair but this product appears to be a fighter against the evil one we call moisture in the air :)

All I can say that is negative is concerning the smell which isn't of my taste, and that too much product used on dry hair can make hair look greasy. I advise that if you use this product as a serum on dry hair, you use a very slight amount and don't concentrate it on the roots.

I would recommend this product to any keen straighteners and people who are hassled by humidity!

Thanks for reading my review, I hope I've helped.
