Sureshot 300x for some reason on some holes will not automatic hole advance had it back to place of purchase and back to sureshot had it checked they assure me all is well . Very frustrating when u are about to play ur 2nd shot on the 3rd hole and sureshot is still on the second hole. The only way to get back onto the correct hole is to go back into to the start and reload the settings for that hole again. By that time I am holding up play ,getting to a point where I don't bother taking It with me . The up side is when it does work correctly it's a good device easy to read and gives u all the info required ,if anybody else has had any similar problems with sureshot and had them fixed I would like to know,

No issues at all. Any in accuracy is in the mapping or, more likely, when courses are redesigned. Still holds good charge. Screen ok. Used in pouring rain.

Have had 2 of these units. Functionality is excellent, but obviously the degree of accuracy depends on how accurately the course was mapped. In most cases the mapping seemed great, but I have come across a few mapping errors. But with both units, after 6-12 months they seemed to have a software problem in loading. The customer service from Sureshot (in Melbourne) was excellent in both cases to get them fixed, even though I had to send unit back to them.

My sure shot was great until recently it has crashed and will not pick up signal. I have tried everything. Also out in the day light it is very hard to see the screen.

after about 18 months, I lost the signal and tried everything (including upgrading my subscription) but no good. Contacted sureshot and, after much chasing, was told I would be contacted by UK support. More chasing, then told there was no UK support - choices were to send to Australia for repair or upgrade model (at a cost) No thanks! Would they refund my upgraded subscription - no chance! Look elsewhere

The Sureshot unit worked well in dry conditions but it is certainly not for use without protection in wet weather.
I had mine for two years before it stopped working and unfortunately the customer care of both the manufacturer in Australia and the Uk distributor was at the best POOR.
I would not advise others to purchase from this manufacturer.

I have had my Sureshot now for over two years. At first it was fine but lately I have had some issues with it. Namely that I have downloaded courses that have only been part downloaded and it crashes reguarly. I would check out other gps systems before looking at the Sureshot.

Most courses I've played it's been great, but a few have changed some holes and the Sureshot gps han't been updated, I have emailed these alterations to golf-plus, but no reply as yet, one of our local courses, Staddon Heights, has not been recorded at all, it's excellent for the shorte though.

The Sureshot GPS Rangefinder is easy to use and read - accurate and sturdy . Also so far has not cost anything bar the price I paid on ebay but I have played 10 different courses over past year. Never had any other but very useful especially when not playing your home course. Only bad point is its not waterproof.

I have returned my Sureshot GPS Rangefinder to the retail outlet because I do not consider it suitable for my requirements.
The course downloads options seem cheap but check thoroughly before downloading that the courses you wish to play have not only been mapped but mapped accurately as you are unlikely to receive a refund from Sureshot; I didn't.

Great unit. I have found this rangefinder to be a great piece of equipment. Its help[ed my game and club selection and i find it to be pretty accurate. you do have difficulty in certain situations but the majority of the timeis pretty good.

Generally a good tool although if playing a course you are not familiar with and they have temp greens(winter) gps looses its ability to work out distances after a couple of holes, on the whole the Sureshot GPS Rangefinder is a great idea it just isnt always suitable.
