“There are as you are probably aware many brands of tea...”

Written on: 01/02/2011 by dabmim (7 reviews written)

There are as you are probably aware many brands of tea bags on the market from top range such as Yorkshire, Tetley, PG to Supermarket own label and some in between! However what attracted me to Yorkshire tea was in fact my in-laws! They had been drinking it while we simply went for the cheapest in most cases (when I say cheapest I mean cheapest nicest, such as supermarket own brand). So I managed to get a sample from their website and tried them at home, and I was hooked. They were much… Read Full Review

Guest's Response to dabmim's Review

I was at work not that long ago, and spotted a small box of tea bags that someone had left behind. The Yorkshire brand caught my attention, being i`m Canadian and my grandparents are from the Yorkshire area , I decided to try a cup. I drink a fair amount of tea and had to say that after the first sip it was as if angels started singing and the sky opened up and bright flashes of light came from the sky! Over exagerateing? Perhaps a bit, but there isn`t much better than a full bodied, flavorful cup of tea to look forward to in the morning! Now here in Victoria British Columbia I had to go to an English candy and sweets shop to buy it and it was quite pricey...about 16 dollars for 80 bags, but worth it!

Best Regards, Dean Sellars

Teatotalmark's Response to dabmim's Review

Written on: 07/07/2014

after buying some yorkshire tea bags from iceland (240 for the price of 160)i was disapointed with the taste strength and flavour. i wrote an e-mail to taylors of harrogate to find out why. to my amazement they admitted that the iceland box of tea bags has less tea per bag than other super market chains.so when i got home i weighed the tea bags. iceland yorkshire tea bags came out at 2.5 grams approx per bag. morrisons 240 yorkshire tea came back as 3.2 grams per bag. both cost around the same price per box at different retailers.surely this should be stated as fact on the boxes?

“Yorkshire Tea makes a cracking morning cuppa. ”

Yorkshire Tea makes a cracking morning cuppa.
Get's me ready to face the day.
It tastes stronger than a lot of the other leading teas so not for the faint hearted, yet a must for the real hardened tea drinkers out there!
Try Yorkshire Gold too, a little more expensive again but a little stronger too!… Read Full Review
