Dimplex Adagio ADG20

I bought one of these in November 2015 and it stopped giving out heat after 2 years and was repaired under warranty. It has now packed up again and trying to get an out of warranty repair is just impossible - try even getting through to the company's main number (as I type this, my call is still unanswered after 25 minutes). The unit may look pretty good but it's simply not worth it if it fails so regularly - I now intend buying a much cheaper model, which at least comes with a 3 year guarantee.

I purchased a Dimplex adagio 20br fire eighteen months ago, and the L E D lights failed, It cost me £92 for a printed circuit board ,the size of a matchbox, and that did not include the fitting. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND this fire to anyone.

Prompt delivery with no problems. Excellent value and fire looks great in new installed Health. Would recommend to any person purchasing this fire.

after only having this fire 2 and half months it started making really loud noise even when the flame effect was just on and a few days later the flame effect broke completely you dont expect to pay £330 pounds for that i just wish i would of found these reviews before i purchased it in first place its a shame because it is a nice looking fire

Bought Adagio as I loved the appearance. Will never buy Dimplex again. Within weeks of buying it I noticed what looked like a 4"x2" card behind glass screen. Turned out to be circuit board which had slipped. Got that repaired. Again within weeks the flame effect stopped working. Part had to be replaced. Now the fire is out of the guarantee period and once again the flame effect has stopped working. Will cost a fortune to call out engineer and to pay for replacement part. Do not buy Dimplex!

The flame effect has failed to work - rang the shop who sold us the fire and cannot get it repaired or replace - starting litigation!! Won't buy Dimplex again - look good but poorly made.

Has anybody had any problems with the Dimplex Adagio ADG20 flame effect practically not working when the heat is not on?

Dimplex Adagio ADG20 is great looking, and of good solid cast quality, unlike most pressed tin models! have had dimplex before and have never had any problems with any of them.

wouldn't buy a Dimplex Adagio ADG20 again. noisy as the fan blows the flame effect. also couldnt get the company to come out and fix it.....wouldn't buy again.
