I Had To Find A Cheap Low Mileage Car. I Hav

I had to find a cheap low mileage car. I have owned various Kias in the pass and knew that they were very reliable in over 200000 miles in various kias I had sustained only one break down. The shuma carries on this great record I have done over 10000 miles in the shuma and it is a car that performs well in every department. I cannot fault the KIA it only cost me £1300 and it has delivered all that I need it has a good feel and drives well. The space in the shuma hatchback carries a great load and the car is basic in its level of comfort but all that one needs is catered for. So to sum it up if you're looking for good usable transport that is reliable wont cost the earth and is easy to drive and not expensive to run look no further the Kia shuma fulfils all those need.

My Kia Shuma 2 1.6 Was Bought In 2001.it Was

My Kia Shuma 2 1.6 was bought in 2001.It was hard to start at the first attempt (when it was parked for some time a few hours).

After one year complaining about this they changed the ECU and it was solved.

Three years later with 36000km the clutch started to show a malfunction. When I pressed the accelerator, the engine gained rpms but the car didn't increase speed, like if it was in idle. This situation become more frequent and then I had to press the accelerator always very gently after that.

With 45000 it was time for a programed maintenance (each 15000km).At the Faro Kia maintenance Office(Uniguia-Com rcio de Autom veis Lda)(Portugal).I complained about this strange malfunction(I preventably had two Nissans and one Fiat, all sold with more then 100.000km and none had such a problem).

This got worse and with 60.000km. I delivered the car in to the Faro Kia maintenance Office for a new clutch to be installed.

I supported the costs(685.83 Euros with the 60.000km maintenance included).

It happens that this isn't obviously something normal to occur, and I have a friend with one of the few Kia Shuma 2 sold (in Faro and Olh o)that had the same problem with something like 20.000km .

In summary worst than having an unreliable car is to have a Car Maker or Importer that does not assume that, in order to minimise the negative consequences. So don?t expect me to buy another Kia or make god publicitiy of

I bought a new Magentis and the clutch went at 30,000 miles. While it was towed to the garage or in the garage the Ar Con was crushed. Garage refused to accept and green flag denied responsibility. Unfortunately, I am disabled and had to buy another car urgently and it was another Kia Sedona . Terrified that this will do the same. £22,000 blown just like that.

Have Had The Kia Shuma Since New And Have Had No P

Have had the Kia Shuma since new and have had no problems until now as my clutch has gone but that is partly my fault as I managed to burn it out by reversing up a very very steep hill fully loaded (wasn't through choice it was single lane and a jeep had broken down causing large problems). Apart from that my car has performed well in both city driving and on long journeys (motorways and winding country roads) I have been to Cornwall and back many times and have done the journey without having to stop due to aching legs etc. The main problem with the drive is when you get to a steep hill as the car looses its speed fairly quick which seems silly as it travels very nicely between 80 - 100 mph (not recommended). When updating my car I will be getting another Kia as the car is so good for the money and the looks aren't bad either as on seeing my car in the showroom (I paid extra for upgrading stereo paint etc) they had three more sales. Also my brother has now got Kias (Sedona and Picanto) and after letting my sister-in-laws father drive my car he went and got a Shuma 2 himself. Need I say more?

I Was Shocked That I Had Grown To Love The Kia Shu

I was shocked that I had grown to love the Kia Shuma 2 16L. I have previously driven BMWs and Audis but decided to buy my own car rather than keep a company car. I bought purely on price and I have to say that I would buy Kia again.
