“Poor Services in migrating website from one to another”

Poor Services in migrating website from one to another account, Took 3 days still the issue resolved. 1. Service expired within one account so decide to migrate website from another account 2. Deleted website from the expired account so that domain will be free ( Siteground support team claim that domain will be free within one hour of service deletion) 3. But domain is added to some other dummy account by siteground team and they were suggesting me to login into that account and deleted the site but as account doesn't belong to me then how can i access and delete the services? 4. spoke to many team members over the chat and ticket, took 3 days but the issue is still unresolved. 5. They want another one day stating that we have sent an email to the dummy account holder to delete the services . 6. so finally after 72 hours, i decide to deleted all the services from siteground and move all the services to some other hosting provider. Guys, i personally recommend you to not to choose siteground due to poor services and support team is just a bunch of clowns who play with you over the chat and tickets.

“How all hosting companies should be . . . .”

Siteground have really broken the mold when it comes to hosting companies. Providing 24 hour online support from basic issues through to complex they are always on hand to assist. The communication is very good and they will always work with you to make sure you are satisfied. Covering all aspects of online business regardless of size. Over the past 18 months I have used all levels of Sitegrounds hosting services right up to a Private Server.

“Be warned of hidden charges”

This company seems legitimate, but be very wary of hidden service charges. Especially when trying to cancel their services.

Hello yeAllison96, all our service charges are clearly stated on the sign up page and also in our TOS. It is indeed possible that a cancellation fee was requested when cancelling a service, but this fee usually covers our costs for domain names and/or other third-party services that we prepay on your behalf. We do not receive refund for them if cancelled, so it is not possible for us to refund the entire amount paid. Unfortunately we cannot check your exact case, since we do not have enough information to identify your account. “The ONLY webhosts I will ever use :)”

I can't believe I'm writing a good review for a webhost. As I've had so many bad experienced before I was looking for one that would suck the least. Well, Siteground has definitely restored my faith. There customer support is the best I've ever received from any company, webhost or not, and they go above and beyond to help with issues that normally wouldn't be covered. There is no wait time whereas other companies make you wait for at least 10 minutes each time. I love that you can rate your customer service rep and even go to their bio to read a bit about them. It really seems that they are all proud to work there and I actually like going to ask for their advice because they're so friendly which in turn, makes me happier. Every company should work on their model. Yes, they aren't as cheap as other company's that sell domains for a penny but they shouldn't be. You can see where the money goes. I've had a lot of problems with my website (through my lack of knowledge, nothing to do with them) and I must have online chatted with at least 15 of their staff members. Each one was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Don't hesitate to choose them, you won't be disappointed and like me, will probably never use another webhost again.

I wanted to let anyone know who was contemplating moving to Siteground, that the tech support is awesome! They respond quickly and ofer to help in whatever way you need. I had no less than three offer to help me today and all were fast, polite and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong at Siteground!

Siteground has hosted my domain for a number of years now. I have never had to wait for technical support. There instant chat support is second to none and all their consultants are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. I do not hesitate to ask any questions for fear of waiting a long time and being treated like some fool. The Siteground online pages are easy to read, easy to follow and logical. The security is first class and Siteground is always improving and upgrading. I really cannot fault Siteground. Since they were recommended to me, I have been nothing but impressed. I've used 2 other hosting solutions in the past, but I have to say that SiteGround has won me over. I plan to use them exclusively for for current and future projects. Here's why: * The shared hosting environment is extremely responsive, it feels like I'm running my application on a dedicated server. * Extended toolset - cpannel, webalizer, file manager and all the other common tools are there. But SiteGround includes cron jobs, ssh access, git client, malware monitoring and advanced caching options. * Awesome service - the service is prompt and helpful, in one case notifying me of an issue before I was aware of it and correcting it for me very quickly. * Affordable.

I was looking to move my hosting to a different service, and had a lot of technical questions. The rep was extremely helpful, and answered all my questions I had (I had quite a lot of) After he answered all of my questions, he then helped me figure out what hosting plan would be best for my site judging from the Google statistics I provided him. This, already, is above and beyond what I'm used to with customer support. So when the representative wanted to personally help me set up my account and move everything to the Siteground hosting, I was pretty amazed. That's just a level of service that I've never seen in this industry. If this is the type of support that Siteground has, I believe I'll be staying with this hosting service for a long time. To top it off, the prices are very affordable and well within my budget.

Since I joined Siteground at the beginning of October, I've had 6 support tickets opened. Each one has had a prompt response but most importantly, the problems were fixed within a very short time, I have never experienced such service with other hosting companies. I launched another joomla site recently and the client chose a different host company, however, I intend convincing him to transfer asap to Siteground because he will be looking after his site in the near future. There is only one comment I would make that is slightly negative, some of the support videos may be slightly out of date, the Files BackUp restore and mysql backup gave different results to what was shown or it could be my lack of experience with cPanel...first time user. Even so any future site I build will end up on Siteground! :)
