I've eaten in the bistro three or four times. The service tends to be slow, but all the food I have had there is delicious. I have eaten in the restaurant (which has a different menu) one time, and the food there was good. The service in the restaurant was more prompt than the service in the bistro.

My husband, myself and my brother and his partner sat down at what seemed a nice spot. Morels French Restaurant in Los Angeles had very few people at the tables outside. We received no welcome on arrival. The waiter and waitress totally ignored us for several minutes, and when we tried to get assistance eyes were rolled. After a few more minutes, we decided that we felt so bad about the place, we didn't even try the food. It calls itself French Style, but I'll leave it up to the readers imagination what that means. I have never been treated so badly in the USA. We ended up going to sit about 20 feet away in the outside area where we could choose what we wanted, and we ate outside from the kiosks - much cheaper and more enjoyable.
