I bought a new set of MX-25's about five years ago, +1/2", 2 degrees up. Prior to my ordering these the pro gave me two 6 irons, a Miz 25 and a Ping, to try out for 4 weeks. Before I put the clubs in my bag I knew the Mizuno was for me, as it didn't have a 'chunky' head to look down on. Not to be deterred I tried both and within a few days the Mizuno joined my other clubs in my bag. The feel, the look and the playability of these clubs has made me a long time Mizuno customer. The forged… Read Full Review

I traded in my old set of ping steel shaft irons for these MX 25's after trying out a fair few at the pro shop and couldn't be happier. They have a real good feel and are not too "whippy" which was a concern for me in moving to graphite irons. I haven't lost any distance on my shot but I do feel more in control, especially with the medium and short irons… Read Full Review

These irons were terrible until I had them fitted. Now they're only awful. Way overpriced for the quality. I've never hit so many chunk shots in my life. I take them out and try them every year, play 10 or 15 of the worst games of the season and then ditch them. On Used Callaway, they only offer $90 for the set, little wonder. Really unplayable junk… Read Full Review

Bought these Mizuno MX-25 clubs on Saturday, after testing a range of clubs. After testing Callaway, Taylor Made, Nike and Cleveland I found that I couldn't hit there o-size irons anywhere near as well their tour irons.
This left me with a dilema, I want a fair amount of forgivness but only the tour irons felt good.
Cue Mizuno, the MX-25 was the next test, after about 15 balls, all going long and straight my mind was made up. They fell and swing like a tour iron, but with a good chunk of…

The Mizuno MX-25 golf iron has super mizuno forging quality, these irons are the puppies naughty parts. Large face area, great TTshafts, fantastic clubs. They do look a bit strange from the top down from 3-5 due to the protruding cavity but you soon get over that, 6-wedge look great and very inviting behind the ball. They seem to hit a tad higher for me than other irons but that's not a bad thing as they land softer and with British greens sometimes being on the firm side every little helps. On… Read Full Review

Not as forgiving as teh mx 23's. Buy the mx 23's at a discount and get a better club. My guess is the NEXT mx 2x will be the club to have… Read Full Review

Very happy with them after 1 year. The best set overall sold in the market. Pro's are convinced that these irons really are the best they can get. A common thing I've read is that these irons are suitable for beginners, they are NOT, they are the best option for mid players and good players that don't want a 100% blade irons… Read Full Review

Decent irons but prefer Taylor Made R7s. When you hit if flush it is a great feeling. Irons are accurate. Distance is not a strength of the Mizuno MX 25 in my opinion… Read Full Review

I would recommend the Mixuno MX 25 golf clubs to anybody from a 5 to a 20 handycap that is if you at least have between 80 and 100 mile an hour swing with driver because they might be game improvement but theres a whole lot of player iron built into these things the only thing that i wish i would have known before i bought them was just how good they were because i wouldnt have waited so long there solid yet so absolutely beautifully soft and the ball flight was high yet had that penetrating… Read Full Review

Mizuno have managed to improve the on MX 23s but making a bigger and longer cavity on the club making it easier to launch to the ball with the lower centre of gravity. This also makes the Mizuno MX 25's very forgiving. They have also changed the grooving on the club which increases the amount of control and spin you can put on the ball. Mizuno have done really well to improve on some old favourites… Read Full Review
