Toyota Auris 2009 1.6 Tr
Very disappointing after having Toyota Corollas for years I was expecting an improvement but apart from the 6 speed gearbox the Auris lags behind the Corolla. The interior of the Auris is filled with scratchy cheap looking plastics, the dual glovebox feels flimsy as does the centre console box.The boot isn't very big and the parcel shelf is cheap and rattles as you drive down the road. The interior rattles especially the head rests everytime you go over a bump in the road its irritating to say the least. The driving experience is ok it handles well and corners nicely but the engine struggles with the weight of the car.The car is difficult to reverse especially at night without parking sensors as the view out of the rear window is restricted, judging the front end is difficult due to the design of the car which is high waisted with blind spots right and left. The ride of the car is shocking you feel every lump and bump in the road, this car has no traction control which it badly needs. After the Corolla Toyota went downwards with the Auris the Corolla is a superior car in most aspects, should have kept my Corolla my own fault

The Car Feels Very Cheap. I Bought It For Toyota R
The car feels very cheap. I bought it for Toyota reliability because the ride or look are behind the competition. I have found out it was not reliable neither. Faulty starter motor, gearbox, brakes, steering rack and suspension issues. All replaced under the warranty but I bought new car to avoid issues like that. Sold it and I drive a car from different manufacturer- with no issues so far.

The 1.6 V-matic Engine Is Very Quiet And Smooth. I
The 1.6 v-matic engine is very quiet and smooth. It has to be revved a little to get the best performance though, but then this isn't a hot hatch.
The car is extremely spacious and comfortable over long distances. We rarely carry back seat passengers but when we do they have acres of legroom.
The fit and finish is excellent.
Boot space is ample and as good as other cars in it's class like the Focus and Golf. The build quality appears excellent and there has been no reliability issues.
Our car is the TR version which has everything you'd really want such as dual zone climate control. It didn't have reversing sensors though, we paid extra for those (you had to have the optional 'protection pack).
So far a great family car.

This Car Is Not For A Family It Is Big Inside But
This car is not for a family it is big inside but the boot is tiny ! The Radio is annoying with so manual buttons, you don't know what to do !, The suspension is bad as every time go over a bump, I hit my head on the roof! and makes very disturbing noises for a 13,000 plus on a car. The car feels like your in a tin with plastic and feels uncomfortable, Not a good car sadly for a 2007 type car!
