Paid full amount to far east for March year 2020. The travel was cancelled due to covid. I asked for the cash refund on Oct as I could not see any longer, I'd be able to travel due to my age. The agent told me it was too late. Too late? I never have informed option by them. They became very defensive making all sorts of excuse to cover their backsides. I booked flights in May and June 20 and paid over £1800 these got cancelled due to covid 19 and refund was requested and we are now 4 months on since my depature date and no refund when i contact them all they keep saying no update emailed customer service on few occasion but they just dont reply at all. Used them once and NEVER AGAIN! Used them for the first time and NEVER EVER again! Paid a package holiday in full, due to Covid-19 I was informed I'd get a full refund, they then said I could have vouchers. Then they just vanished! My friend and I booked a 10 day holiday to Kuta in Bali. When we arrived, we found that the transfer driver had never heard of our hotel, and tried dropping us to 3 different hotels instead. I was given some gift vouchers for Hays, I couldn't use them as I was working away. They expired after a year and shortly after they expired I asked Hays if they could be renewed to which I was told no. We had a disastrous holiday we let them know - it took 28 days for a feeble bog standard letter to be sent which was clearly meant to pacify us - it did not they did not address a number of things in the letter we sent and had to be chased all day to respond - obviously another letter from us and another apology and app they will re look at the complaint !!!! Used Hays Travel, Shaftesbury, to try and get some Swiss Francs for my daughter's ski trip. Was guaranteed that the money would be available 24 hours later. “Ripped off!! Book through website not an agent! ”

Booked holiday with hays through adviser who popped up on their website . Pressure all day to book which i mistook for being helpful. Then booked only to find adviser charged group £40+ per person EXTRA than cost on website. Absoultley ripped off and misold! Contacted hays who have done nothing than said we investigated but you agreed price so nothing can be done!!! Absolutly disgusting.
