I brought a Vibe Black box amp after reading this review 4 weeks ago, had it fitted by Auto Audio and it blew. Had it replaced 3 times before i got one to work and when it did work it sounded terrible. This has put me off vibe products the look is good and the quality is from the pound shop.

Well I got this amplifier for Christmas for my Infinity 1240 reference sub woofer (please read my review) and was having doubts as to whether it would run it, but it's exceeded my expectations.
The Vibe black box 1 Class A/B amplifier designed and Engineered in England, made in America.
The features are as follows:-
Has an output of 2x50 watts RMS or 2x100 watts at 2 ohm load (meaning you can run speakers as low as 2 ohms)
Very small profile, tiny for the power output in fact.
Fast blow 15A fuse for protection
Features bridgeable connections, meaning you can connect the 2 connections into one monoblock connection, when you do this you get a constant 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms and a max output of 400 watts.
Features gold plated input and output connections for brilliant performance
Also the amplifier features a High pass filter and a low pass filter cross over, meaning when you apply the LPF you have all the low frequencies for subwoofers only and all the high frequencies filtered out, and when you apply the HPF, you have all the high frequencies suited for tweeters, but all the low frequencies all filtered out.
Has an adjustable Gain control from 500mv to 5v.
For people who are running subwoofers, there is a bass enhance control from 0DB to 18DB (fixed at 45Hz), you can use this feature to fine tune you low frequency for the ultimate amount of bass.
There are speaker level inputs available for those who intend to run components, 2 ways etc. and RCAs connections
MOSFET power supplies with RFI power circuits to prevent overheating and speaker shorts, giving all time protection to the amplifier
Unique to Vibe black box series amplifiers, Is the ICC vents (or Internal convection cooling vents) meaning that each of the MOSFET supply is attached to the aluminum heat sink giving ultimate heat dissipation and preventing the amp going into protection mode. Do not block the ICC vents otherwise itll cause the amp to get very hot and overheat.
Also when you turn the unit on, it features a soft start, meaning you don't get blasted with a huge amount of bass straight away.
When I had set up the variable gain etc and the bass enhance control, i was very impressed with the amount of bass produced.
All in all for the money that was spent on it, it is very much worth the money, I strongly recommend you get one while you can
Hope My review was of some use!
